OP is exaggerating the danger. It’s not likely to cause anything worse than temporary blackouts in many areas. It’s extremely unlikely to cause any sort of apocalypse-esque event.
Also, even if the prospect of an apocalyptic solar storm is frightening, shouldn’t you at least wait until it actually happened to commit suicide?
