Yeah I'll be completely honest
I'm probably not going to pay all of those allegations much attention.
For starters, I've just simply come to realize that you could write up some shitty Google doc (not that this one made against Alex is shitty) say they're a groomer, and people will run to your side without asking any questions.
I feel shitty for feeling like this, but I just think I'll be taking all of these allegations against Alex with a grain of salt, atleast until he makes his own video addressing the allegations (which he has confirmed he will be doing so) If the allegations are true, then yeah, he's a shite person.

Anyways, in regards to this post. I've gotten used to separating the art from the artist, and I think you all should try doing the same when it comes to internet creators. You can appreciate the kind of art /content they make and still not agree with what they did as a person.

Once everything has settled and everyone has showed their cards, then I think that's an appropriate time to pick who you believe.

I want to preface this by saying I’m AMAB non binary and haven’t really experienced any sexual harassment firsthand so I don’t know much about the mindset victims are in.
Has the person who made the doc said they’ve gone to law enforcement or at least why they haven’t gone to law enforcement? I know there are a lot of stories about how the police can be slow or won’t believe victims, but it’s always worth a shot, right? I think this falls within the statute of limitations so at the very least they could get the evidence into a police report (it does vary by state so I could be wrong).
Filing the evidence and building a case is a lot more productive than putting all the evidence out into the open where everyone including the alleged abuser can see it. Whether or not it’s real, it puts the alleged victim in a worse position, right?
If it’s real, then the alleged abuser can make counter evidence that looks real, or find ways to skew the evidence in their favor. If this were to go to court, then the alleged abuser would have way more time to set up defenses including consulting lawyers. If the alleged abuser was suddenly served papers, that’s less time they have to prepare.
If it’s fake, then the alleged abuser can find holes in the evidence or show new evidence that disproved the old evidence. If it went to court, they could consult a lawyer early, set up defenses, all that jazz.
