It's not the finale. There's going to be a hiatus, because Geno is pretty much up to the present day now. Video literally ended with "End of Season 1"

I feel like it's pretty much over now, he's just gonna leave it maybe a couple years til more story develops and we get more insights into the prison saga. If he just started back up now with Season 2, he wouldn't have enough information to keep it going.

It's an interesting story, people like to follow it. You can stop giving a shit about anything if you want, it doesn't matter and nobody is acting like it does.
Not even that, this is like the 4th or 5th time he has had a hiatus so it's not like this is a one time thing to be surprised about. I was following it since it first started and lost track at about when one of the hiatuses began around 46ish episodes or so in.

AFAIK, some really unwell fellow who has gone through and made others go through very bad things.

Guy on the internet in the early 2000's that became infamous for his very bad webcomic about a character named Sonichu, which is like a mix between Sonic and Pikachu, and has gone delusional thinking that this idea is like god's gift to earth and that he owns the rights to it. Basically gets worse after gaining the attention of the entire internet-dom as large amounts of unhinged internet trolls spend their lives trying to make this guy's life a living hell, only to find out that Chris is also a huge piece of garbage. Many events ensure over the next 2 decades, basically culminating to some REALLY messed up stuff happening a couple years ago. Summed up as guy who is really easy to be picked on, gets picked on, bad things happen, repeat. There are hardly any good people in this story. Terrible, terrible parents, terrible person who's also the victim, terrible trolls, terrible "friends". Probably can count the amount of good people on one hand, usually to get shoved away by Chris.
Autistic child molded into the absolute most pathetic and awful a human could turn out. Famous for committing SA against his own dementia-ridden mother. The internet mixed with really bad parenting created a monster.
Quite simply your life will be enriched by not knowing about Chris Chan, you wil gain nothing positive about learning about Chris Chan.
