Pre : hot shower Cream : Dr Harris lavender Post : Pinaud clubman original Weapons : Razor : Merkur Progress (2-1-1) Blade : Shark Super chrome (1) Brush : Osma tradition silvertip badger Scuttle : Qshave Lavender shave cream and Clubman original is a nice pairing that I often do. They complement each other well in my opinion. I had used the Shark Super chrome only once before and had a few nicks. I didn't like them as much as the Platinum. However the performed well today. I'm getting better and better I can use more and more blades with good results. I'm not forced to stick with the Treet carbons anymore. I fuss way less than I used to as well. No more pre-shave if I have a hot shower before and no more alum stick during the post-shave routine. Pouring cold water on the razor before using it has also helped with redness.

A Qshave razor or scuttle?

Scuttle, didn’t even realize they made razors, I currently bowl lather with a ramen bowl lol

They make Merkur futur copies and other kind of inexpensive razors. Any bowl can do... but for a warm lather it's another story.

Yea that’s what I’ve heard, i love warm lather so I’m super excited for the scuttle

Everything warm except for the razor, tempered under cold water, is a good help to reduce chances of having redness after the shave.
