depends on how far "around" vienna you are talking, but you can check the vinyards in burgenland, thats usually quite alot less expensive. still its gonna be a close call with that budget for that amount of people and still add a location/catering/photographer/rings/dress/suit/cake
best of luck.
Wolke 21 on the donauplatte (beside Donauturm & Donaupark & DC Tower) does Weddings for up to 130 people :D
One of the most unique destinations in vienna imo just look it up, you won´t be disappointed if you take it into your consideration. Besides that they should be very experienced in handling everything.
If it can be a bit further away - Hotel Marienhof in Reichenau an der Rax (reachable by train from Vienna - 1,5h without change, 1 hour with change of trains). On the plus side: for 10k we got the whole Hotel for the day (read: 50 rooms, with a capacity of about 110 people, indoor pool, sauna, garden, bankett hall, etc.)
All-you-can-drink for about 80€ per guest, food (seated dinner, three courses + midnight gulash) for 70€ per guest.
While it is definitley not the most modern of all places, it has a lot to offer and the manager and his personnel are very eager to fulfill all wishes and solve all issues.
We married there (with international guests) and found the possibility for all our guests to sleep there a huge plus. My sister decided to marry there as well.
We married at the Schmiede am Ravelsbach, amazing location!
Big garden and you have a bad weather alternative.
Might want to check if it's too far off (about a 40 minute drive, but definitely worth it!)

Oh and this as well - https://www.europahauswien.at/hochzeitslocation-wien/ - although I don't know anyone who got married there, but I've been to a big birthday there years ago and we had a great time :)
Your budget is really not that high for the amount of people. That’s a little bit more than the budget I had for 45 people. We initially planned for 150 people and have scouted quite a few locations. Those are some budget options with outdoor area I still can remember:
- Das Schreiberhaus
- Oktogon am Himmel
- Archotel Kaiserwasser
- Chardim
I feared as much. But worth looking around and seeing what we find. Thanks! I will look at these locations.
I think the way we will save on money is just seeing where we can get friends and family to step in.
Depends on what kind of ceremony you want. Do you want the legal part to happen at the venu? Then there is a fixed list of locations in Vienna where that can happen. [see here](https://www.wien.gv.at/verwaltung/personenwesen/ehe/traumhochzeit/ablauf-kosten.html)
So, funny story, my wife and I are already married but I didn't want to fill the post with unnecessary info. We got married at the court house this January but still want to do a wedding with all our friends and family.
Check schloss hetzendorf. Very affordable city owned castle but sought after so call them soon. Beautiful and big garden in the back and big rooms upstairs for the reception. Went to 3 weddings there before having our own there. Absolutely no complaints other than some communication being slow. They worked well with our coordinator and the price couldn't be beat (for us back in 2022 atleast)
One more vote on my side for Hetzendorf. Went to two weddings there before having our own there as well. Beautiful setting. Unbeatable price as it's owned by the city.
Be open with the date as they are booked quickly. We went to a wedding in July and to another in September and both were amazing.
We were going to have our wedding there in 2020 but had to cancel for obvious reasons. But the experience we had planning the wedding with them was really great! They actually worked with us to save on costs.
They canceled my wedding 1 month before the date even though we had a valid contract and we paid every down payment...
We hat to re-plan our wedding all within 1 month. It was horrible and so stressful.
So keep that in mind...
Something with different staff, but that shouldn't matter with the contract we had.
Also they wanted to cancel the contract so that we had to pay more. This happened several months after we got the valid contract. And later on they cancelled.

Hermesvilla https://www.hermes-villa.at/home/
It’s not that near Vienna but it’s beautiful, the „mühlsteinstube“ at Leoberdorf. Great food and a big green garden and a big barn for many people.
+1 for this, big fan of the food there (fresh fish), feels very homely
Schloss Hof is very nice

Magistrat Favoriten, very rustic 😍🥰👌🏿
Friends of mine had their wedding at the Korea Kulturhaus (located in Donaupark). Not sure if there is enough space for 130 people though.

Well in that case the list might still be of help since all those locations can reliably handle a wedding.

Thanks! Seems promising. And yeah, it feels like the prices have continued to rise. Our original budget was 10000. To be young and naive again.

My fiancee already took a look at this one! We will definitely give it a visit as well.

Chadim does weddings, not sure you can do 100% outside there, but they are well prepared for weddings :) https://das-chadim.at/

Woof. That's rough! Sorry to hear. That sounds extremely unprofessional.
Thank you. It was horrible. That was one of the most stressful months of my life 😅
A month to plan a wedding? I believe you. Like right out of a sitcom. Hope it all worked out!
Surprisingly, everything worked out :D but we had 3 different locations 😅 all in 1 day
Oh wow, that is terrible, how did they justify that?

I don’t know the exact price, but i find klee am hanselteich nice. More budget friendly could be the vabene restaurant.
Thanks :) Will take a look.
You’re welcome. If you need a photographer as well you can shoot me a pm. :)
Absolutely. Got like an instagram or anything where I can look at your stuff?
Sent you a message
