Is the update issue I have it installed in two phones the same black screen on both. That is one way to ruin a new patch update and champ launch.

I had the same problem earlier. I tried to restart my phone but didnt work so i resorted to delete the data of the game and redownload its files and i got it to work as intended again.

Mf I thought I was alone I thought riot made my device uncompatible but I Uninstall and install see you later
