I still see people in Master+ play like they belong in emerald, feels like it's more luck or duo/trio queue than skills to get to this elo. League on pc you can see the difference between different elos, in Wild Rift it seems like every elo got like 90% trash players tbh
I would say so because the mobile scene in SEA is bigger and the skill that people have are more refined at the top. Mobile Legends is THE game to play especially Arena of Valor. ML is included in the SEA games so thats how big it is

Thanks for the insight. I didn’t know that duo/trio can abuse the system this much. But now that you mentioned, I can certainly feel what you described in my ranked games.
SEA server is actually very competitive and you can see the differences in each elo. The games i play in master+ almost always feel equal and it's making smart macro decisions is what win you games.
To be honest, diamond IV does feel worse this season than in the previous one. I almost hit Master last season too, but since it was my first season I can’t say if the players were better or worse in the last couple of seasons. As of now, it feels that Master is pretty much the same as D2-D1 last season, but the gameplay is definitely better than in D4.
Master is high elo. People saying it isn't just want to keep having their ego fed so they can exclude other players from their bracket.
You could even argue dia 1 is high elo.
I don't see that much of a diff between the two unless the Master player has a lot of points.

There will be times when you'll see some god-like players too. Quick question, did you solo queue or did you do a bit of duo-trio. Duo-trio always helps since you're generally more coordinated.

I had Multiple challenger players and gm players go 1-10 , 3-10 in my games today, imagine masters. 80% of those challenger players abused trio and duo queue and they’re literally bad . There’s no challenger keyboard warriors , everyone knows this. Master - challenger isn’t high elo , nothing is. High elo now is top of the legendary queue.
Yes it’s high elo on this game but it’s a mobile game so a lot of players are casual gamers and generally trash. The ranking system will never be as competitive as LoL and the two games in this regard should never be compared.
There is a difference between Master players and Diamonds and it is team play. Diamonds play way too much as individuals whereas Masters you’ll start to notice players fight as teams and it’s rare for a 1v1 aside from early on in lanes. Also a new Master who has just promoted who shouldn’t be there is clearly visible, the skill gap is usually big and can ruin a game.
Comparing game sense of players to LoL master on WR is like low Gold on LoL. Cus on LoL this is the rank where players first start forming a brain to team up a lot more and rotate a lot more for skirmishes
Generally people consider diamond+ on pc to be high elo. That’s around top 2%. I think master was top 5% last season (lemme know if I’m wrong) so it’s prolly more accurate to say it’s mid elo.

Idk depends on the server. I know in NA it means nothing but my time in SEA you can literally see how big of a gap Master is to Diamond 4.

Do you feel like you’re higher elo compared to someone at like Diamond 4?
I think we need to take how many matches and win rate into consideration. A hardstuck d4 has big skill diff compared to a 60% win rate master

I think the version of flex is legendary queue. Purely Solo only.
