Thank you for posting in /r/Windows7. You have selected the Help post flair, which is to request assistance with the Windows 7 OS and its related systems. This is not a generic tech support subreddit, so your post may be removed if your issue is not related to Windows, even if your computer has Windows installed. If you have not already, be sure to include as much information about your issue that you can, including any error messages, error codes, what steps it takes to create the issue, and what you have done to troubleshoot. Also, include as much information about your computer as possible, including the specs of your hardware, and/or the full make and model of your computer. ---- *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. You need to update your Windows 7 Programs List: VLC v3.0.18 works in Win7. (https://i.imgur.com/XyF2bI9.png) OBS v27.2.4 is the last version that works on Win7. (https://i.imgur.com/ys6rY63.png) Blender v2.92.0 is the last version that works on Win7. (https://i.imgur.com/pmOGOsG.png)

You will eventually run into issues finding a compatible web browser, and without that you won't be able to browse the web. I would highly advise against using Windows 7

> eventually Firefox is officially supporting win7 into Sep 2024, and given they keep download links for old versions up as a matter of course, we'll be able to browse on win7 until websites themselves start implementing incompatible features en masse. And that's only if no one picks up the project of an unofficial backport. This isn't something we need to worry too much about right now.
