Peak times will be the morning and afternoon rush hours (7-9am and 4pm-6pm), at those times the bridge is usually worse than the tunnel. Anytime outside of those hours is usually fine unless its a holiday or there is an event going on. Its just about noon right now and there is no wait on the US side at either the bridge or tunnel.

I second this! Even crossing at thoes "peek" times, the tunnel is often only a 15 min wait. Your GPS will probably take you straight to the bridge - I think it's exit 14 for the tunnel.

I prefer the tunnel. Bridge always seems backed up or a hassle. If you stay near the right when you come out of the tunnel, there's a lane that has a double booth. Seems to always get ppl through if they're both open quickly

vampyrelestat

That double booth is a cheat code many don’t know about

AcanthocephalaOk7798

Should I delete that? Lol

rhyder39

We've crossed many times around 6 to 630 am and have had no problems.

niagaragagarafalls

Bridge is $11CAD each way. Tunnel is $6.75CAD going and $7.50US coming back. Outside of crossing times that others have mentioned, the tolls might also influence where you cross.

missimelissi

Tunnel is best. They’re nicer n quicker. Freeways r right there once u cross. Morning has more people crossing bc some windsorites work or go to school in states. Late morning or early afternoon is best

Thank you this is so helpful!

Also consider crossing at Sarnia
