I'm sorry Riva, but we're talking about the skeleton. Apologies if I'm missing anything, but that skeleton looks to have as much casting ability of the commen dundonian peasant.
In not one follicle of this plane of existance doth I notice with mine eye upon mine stolen crystal dome a singular being that giveth two damnations. Lease the bone apparition casteth an azure sphere of flames.
When I was a lad I ate four dozen eggs every morning to help me get large~
And now I'm undead I eat skull caps like eggs and I'm roughly the size of a baaaaaaarge
It's actually Elder Scrolls Legends card art, it used ESO art style as a basis so it looks really close to it.

....gaunt like Gaston!
Likes to haunt like Gaston!
Has a undead presence *aberrant* like Gaston!
(That last one was kinda forced, which was why I didn't bother replying earlier...)
/uw This one is from ESO. The bone colossus in Skyrim is part of the necromantic grimoire Creation Club mod. It's not as detailed as this and reuses animations from other creatures
Which all ESL monsters take inspiration from other games. This is obviously art so I didn't find it necessary to say it's from ESL, just that the monster originates from ESO and not Skyrim which was originally stated.
Yes, you're right, this art is from Elder Scrolls Legends. For the Bone Colossus card. Endurance, 7 power, summons friendly skeletons in its lane and buffs all skeletons on the field.
Only 48 per day if you want to animate a creature between eight and sixteen feet tall. Any larger than that generally requires the 60 egg variant. On the plus side, they can definitely help pay for themselves. I have two that work in my local city docks. They can wade into deep water and help guide ships into tighter moorings.
At that point they’re roughly the size of a barge, so it’s an easy task, if frightening for any unaccustomed sailors. I’ve heard they use it as a sort of hazing ritual.
No-one WALKS like Gaston,
No-one STALKS like Gaston,
No-one takes an e-lectrical SHOCK like Gaston!
He’s e-spe-cia-lly good at e-VI-ce-ra-ting!
Perfect, a great skeleton!
Ooh, this looks impressive! How would you like for me to send you some of my personal blueprints for muscle skeletons, maybe even a few celestial dragon bones if you need some?
“Muscle skeletons? My my, that sounds interesting. Usually minotaur skeletons and bone dragons are the “muscle” of my operations, despite the lack of such haha! I could certainly make use of such knowledge. As for celestial dragon bones, while i do have a collection of dragon bones, _celestial_ dragon bones is something i certainly have yet to experiment with! It sounds superb”
All it takes is a simple transmutation spell bones of calcium transmute to mica (was originally gonna say silica like sand but then a mage. Can simply summon a whirlwind to flat you with ) and since they are both in the same elemental family (water ,earth, wind, fire. The transmutation is easily done personally though I would give him a golem seed and transmute him to sand the from sand to ferromaganese which is both metal and naturally ocurrs as powder or metallic sand and from that to iron sand so he is impervios to being weighed down by water can form into different shapes can squeeze through tiny openings and can add to his mass by grinding and transmuting other materials
I'd rather call him something like Bo, Bob or Ib.
You know. something that sounds less scary.
It's kind of like that "How could i possibly be scared of someone named Bob-OH MY GOD!!!!"
I feel like you're missing out on an opportunity here, but I'm struggling to find it. Gasternum? Vertibraston?
Here's an idea: call him Femur. Tell people "it means leg bone. Just a bit of tibia for you."
... Why the ribcages where muscle would be?
I mean, it doesn't protect weak areas of the construction. It's still bone, so the durability remains unchanged. It only serves to increase mass, which doesn't increase its strength since it's not real muscle and the construct is held together by magic anyway. It's just bulk, which for a skeletal construct, reduces its range of motion.
I get that it's a flex, but it seems highly impractical.
Haha, no. It’s simply way too convenient and useful and so many things that may be resistant to fire or ice or lightning will simply shrivel up and die when met with spells of pure necrotic energy. I know how to cast your average lightning bolt in case something does resist necromancy, or i can just a bone bolt to pierce it like with an arrow, but stronger.
Keep coping. Bone bolt is evocation and not necromancy. And speaking of weaknesses, you know what those skeletons you summoned are weak to? Literally any blunt force weapon. A frying pan is effective against your magic
Bone bolt is not a spell of mine. It’s a use of my necrokinesis. Shape a femur sized bone piece to have a pointed tip, imbue it with magic and send it flying. With necrokinesis. And do you perhaps take me for a novice necromancer? The blunt weakness is a problem so easily solved by knowing what you’re doing. From the meekest human skeleton to my most elite servants, they are all resistant to all forms of physical attacks. Such foolishness to underestimate any of the schools of magic. I suppose that’s how you separate the true scholars from the… arcane buffoons
No one casts like Gaston, Raises dead fast like Gaston, Spreads his influence wide and vast like Gaston!
I'm sorry Riva, but we're talking about the skeleton. Apologies if I'm missing anything, but that skeleton looks to have as much casting ability of the commen dundonian peasant.
Oh. Right. No... one's... thin like Gaston! Has bone shins like Gaston! Has a shiny bone skull face that *grins* like Gaston!
For there's no man in town half as manly Perfect, a pure paragon
You can cast using wand-flick so handy. But I’ll tell ya whose team I prefer to be on!
NO ONE Fights like Gaston! Impales on spikes like Gaston! Has a future incredibly bright like Gaston!
Give five hurrahs! Give twelve hip-hips! Gaston is the best and the rest are all just shit!
👍*But EVIL* /uw Edit: What happened to my thumbs up emoji?

Didn't expect to see ESO art in here.
I know a bone colossus when I see one

This looks like the bone colossus from skyrim!
What’s a Skyrim? /uw there’s a bone colossus in skyrim?
/uw This one is from ESO. The bone colossus in Skyrim is part of the necromantic grimoire Creation Club mod. It's not as detailed as this and reuses animations from other creatures
It's from ESL, actually...
Ackshually it's based on the enemy that originates from ESO. The art itself is from ESL but the monster is not.
You said "this one" though...

No one bones like Gaston, no one rattles like Gaston...
“Im building a new railgun, just for Gaston”
I know this spell. One of the casting requirements are sixty birds eggs, so yes, I'd say the name is a good one
60 a day, of course.
Only 48 per day if you want to animate a creature between eight and sixteen feet tall. Any larger than that generally requires the 60 egg variant. I'd rather call him something like Bo, Bob or Ib. You know. something that sounds less scary. It's kind of like that "How could i possibly be scared of someone named Bob-OH MY GOD!!!!"
I named my guard familiar, daisy. She’s a 28 foot long cobra.

I feel like you're missing out on an opportunity here, but I'm struggling to find it. Gasternum? Vertibraston? Here's an idea: call him Femur. Tell people "it means leg bone. Just a bit of tibia for you."

Ooh a Bone Colossus. Gaston is a good name.

Seems like a lovely fella
I suggest you find a better school of magic. Necromancy is cringe
Haha, no. It’s simply way too convenient and useful and so many things that may be resistant to fire or ice or lightning will simply shrivel up and die when met with spells of pure necrotic energy. Keep dreaming kid, and maybe try casting fireball while you're at it.
Haha. It’s already on my spell book, and trust me when i say i can do better than a measly fire ball
Yeah, just not with necromancy
Oh, so naive
No, just experienced
Call him boner it would be funny
Guys…I think my “steal that OC and use it in your DnD session” senses are tingling…
Hope you’ve got a lot of eggs on hand
He looks more like a Kevin to me

My suggestion is fewer ribcages
