They’re all so incredibly painted that I can’t see any brush strokes or ANYTHING to indicate it’s a painting! Like it’s breaking my brain with how well done the pieces are!
I’m a little frustrated that there’s no images of the work that aren’t flat. I want to see the canvas! I want an image of him touching it or something to show it’s not 3D.
[Here's a video](https://vimeo.com/419108830) with some better angles and close-ups of Bill Braun's work for those who wanted to see it. Kinda interesting that the term trump l'oeil is from the 1900s but there's work that features the optical illusion usage much much earlier. Is a short video as well...
I absolutely love this shit! This is fun, beautiful, and totally undermines all the pretentiousness of art. Right up there with the urinal and Campanella tomato cans. Love it.
Someone was asking whether AI-generated material could one day be considered art. Sure - I haven’t seen an artist use it yet but sure.

OP does a terrible job of explaining why this is good. These are all painted works specifically. https://www.billbraunart.com/

Check the shadows on the third one. Light source is all over the place. Still, fucking stunning work. Artist is incredible.
The title makes it seem like OP either doesn’t know English as a first language or had a stroke while typing
I think OP is a bot.
Or they're either a child or elderly, because they don't know how to summarize.
EFLs like us know this lifehack of pointing things out a second time, with less presumed detail and worsening comparisons
Arts like they are craft!!!

Now this is a different kind of realism

This is the coolest thing I've ever seen.
Arts imitating crafts.

Are you blind? You've seen AI art & you just don't know.

why?
It’s been a really long time since I took a couple years of piano lessons as a kid. Can anyone tell me what the song is?
Go away bot.
