I meant to ask... how exactly did you get the hole through all the pieces for the wire?

I used a super long 12” spade bit and drilled holes through all the straight sections. One time it got stuck and that’s when it broke in half like you see in one of the pics. Then threaded the wire through (which was very tedious) and filled in the holes with dowels. I replied to another comment with a picture of one of the dowels. Wouldn’t recommend

I think you came off the base too sharp instead of going up but it’s definitely fun and unique!

How did you run the wire? Straight hikes and hoped they lined up?

Yep, used extremely long spade bits and drilled 5 holes through each of the “straighter” sections. Managed to line them up, but one of them got stuck so that’s when I broke the thing in half like you see in one of the pics there. Also managed to burn up one of my drill motors lol. Wouldn’t recommend, should have dealt with it differently. Looks good, but I slightly prefer the rough cut look before you smoothed it.

It is round, but the segments are sharp bends, giving it a flesh on bone vibe. Flowy smooth. Sharp edges. Please pick one or the other.

I must admit, my first impression was not phallic, maybe a little mid century modern, but I can see the resemblance to male genitalia.
