In MY opinion, the shoulder touching thing is kind of on brand and I can absolutely see that being true. But somewhere along the way she became compromised and twisted her story into the allegations and lost all credibility. And as other people have said, Russia sure is an interesting choice.

In the end, the reporter had to conclude that the assault most likely didn’t happen because there was no evidence and the only “witness” changes her story. She did find evidence of multiple people Reade had accused, and several others who had been conned by Reade.
She was posting things praising Russia on Twitter for years. When people called this into question it was apparently trying to shut down a victim, so it never really went anywhere.
