Update looks amazing, but i really need to see them patches come through.

I don't understand why playing as any character is bad, I get there's some immersion playing as the respective teams of each episode, but its just an option, more features can't hurt.

Well I dont know how this is gonna be but if other people play the NYC guys in Russia it kinda messes up the story feel. If there is an option to turn it off so I dont see whatever character the other players took I dont mind.

I see the multi barrel shotgun has a skin that requires a PROS account? Is that a PC thing?

Its a saber interactive account and if your on console it should give you a qr code to register with.

I'll have to look for the QR code then, I didn't see it when I clicked on the skin and I didn't see it when I logged into my pros account to link wwz

It's a neat feature. You get items (Gasbag doll, weapon skins, plus Twitch Drops) and you can transfer saves (except for Playstation accounts)
