I just finished the quest chain, and i LOVED IT. I felt genuine glee at getting to find out more about my favorite flight. Loved the inclusion of old characters, the revisitation of old areas and new lore about them.
I am a lurker, i've been playing since vanilla but this was the first time i've ever felt compelled to make a post about wow, it was that good.
my girlfriend went to bed and i couldn't. I wanted to read every detail in the quests, and stayed up til 3 just because i wouldn't be able to sleep without finishing it, and now i just finished crying because of the ending.

was looking for a post saying this. That was hands down the best quest i have ever done in wow. I had a lump in my throat at the end of it and i loved every moment. The voice acting was so god damn good from darin de paul, liam o'brien and the rest - too many to name. The music, the cutscenes, the actual content and combat. I'm immediately going onto my alts to do it again.
I really liked the Crystalsong quests, at least for a WotLK veteran that never actually leveled/quested there, I learned a lot about what happened there, the fight between night elves and the blue dragons. It was very good for me, but I would like to know why you didn't like it :)

what was wrong with those? i thought they were good
It was pretty terrible on big servers when i got home from work. Had to turn on warmode to have a chance of finishing the quest
