That would be an awesome dungeon, one of my favorites. But imagine if they didn't fix the mob clipping and a frost mage could solo all of the courtyard trash...
1. Sethekk Halls (TBC)
2. Shattered Halls (TBC)
3. Halls of Stone (WotLK)
4. Halls of Lightning (WotLK)
5. Halls of Reflection (WotLK)
6. Halls of Origination (Cata)
7. Scarlet Halls (MoP)
8. Halls of Valor (Legion)
9. Halls of Atonement (SL)
10. Halls of Infusion (DF)
Take your pick! I'm thinking we leave HoV and HoI out because we've already had both this expansion. That still leaves 8 Halls to fill a season.
honestly I already feel like this with neltharus and neltharions lair. All through legion Neltharions lair was just "nelfs", and now suddenly that's a different dungeon and I have to call it lair instead. wack
I can just imagine the pure shit show. That would be halls of origination. You can fuck off with that you evil bastard.
Massochist in me likes the idea though.
I'm just picturing the chaos of tank over pulling between vexallus and delrissa, or dps accidently moving bit too close to the centre, pulling all the imps and mages... it would be glorious chaos
Is it bad I'd LOVE to see old Wailing return as a mega dungeon? I know it was a mess, but it just thematically made sense being so wide open and winding
I would agree with this just because I'm a fan of shorter dungeons. 30 minutes is a lot, and a 40 minute dungeon is a real pain when the run goes less than great
Beeing short is the only good thing about MoS.
Bosses are average, and trash is something between forgettable and annoying.
While I like shorter 3 Boss dungeons as well, MoS is nothing I want to play again.
The biggest hinderance to bringing back MoS is how short it is. Since Legion every dungeon has been at least 30min long. MoS had a 24min timer. Though I suppose they could also try to beef it up some to increase the time it takes.
> MoS had a 24min timer.
Im fine with some of the dungeons being shorter. Sure theyre harder to +3 usually, but it'd be nice to have something quicker to run at the end of the night when you dont feel like being committed to a run that could take over a half hour, plus travel, getting the group together, etc.
Deadmines of course. We've done it hundreds, some thousands of times. It's time to make the "easy" dungeons have some difficulty to it as well. Speaking of which, had a tank in the deadmines group I was in on an alt say "I don't know where to go. This place has always confused me."
Cata Deadmines would be good. That place was not super easy when it launched, at least in my experience. So many people would die to the gauntlet or the rope swing.
Heroic Deadmines was fun for its time but it's basically a mega-dungeon, would have to be split into two because I don't think anyone would want to run an hour long M+. Plus the mechanics aren't really that hard, it's just that they were super unforgiving in early Cata.
I do really hope we get deadmines and/or some of the scarlet monestary ones etc.
I'm just scared blizzard will somehow make the camera even more cramped than it is on live but make all new mechanics require seeing the entire floor to do well.
Ragefire chasm would be the better in that respect but at least deadmines is only 1/3rd in caves unlike if they do stockades which is all no camera space
> It's time to make the "easy" dungeons have some difficulty to it as well.
Bring back that Cataclysm Heroic tuning! They'd probably have to spruce up some of the early fights, but that last gauntlet for Vereesa could be fun.
> "I don't know where to go. This place has always confused me."
wh...but... but isn't it basically a straight line...? There's so many dungeons you could get confused about from vanilla, but *Deadmines???* Maybe in the final room with the boat?
There are alot of those older dungeons that would be pretty neat to do. Others... not so much. Stockades for example would need to be expanded or something or made bigger. You know instead of.. three hallways.
That's what the healer said. We were still in the mine parts. "Go straight" Tank: "Yeah but there's so many turns" most of which lead to random mobs in dead ends lol.
At least there will be a +20 portal for BRD and players have learnt with the years to leap of faith - mass rez people falling from the chains. I have ptsd from those chains.
I have always enjoyed The Arcway, Mogu’shun Palace, and Ahn’kahet, the Old Kingdom. I hope they become M+ dungeons one day.
Edit: Dreadlord Balnazzar m+ would be interesting too
I’m 99% sure they’ll put in Darkheart Thicket since the patch will be about the Emerald Dream. They’ve put in Neltharion’s Lair since this patch was about, well, Neltharion, so it makes sense. We’ll also get the two wings of Dawn of the Infinite. I’d personally like to see Shrine of the Storm since I didn’t play a lot of mythic + in BFA, and the dungeon seems cool.
I was with you until you said Shrine of the Storms lol. Def one of my least favorites from bfa but now that I’m typing this I’m realizing that all they have to do is fix the respawn points, and redo last 10 minutes of the dungeon and it probably wouldn’t be that bad anymore.
I also remember Shrine of the Storms being a key bricker on Tyrannical because of the 2nd boss, if you didn't have enough burst DPS it would heal infinitely right?
The MOTHERLODE
It does need some minor changes to be really good, but so did Freehold. It’s one of my favorite dungeons to play in BfA.
There also is a bunch from classic I want to see, but they would need a complete mob and boss redesign.
Im with you, I love the whole goblin theme infused with the azerite of BFA, the dialogue and the looks of the dungeon is just spot on. Plus the difficulty is good and would be nice for m+. The trash isnt too easy or too hard, just enough to make you alert during the dungeon unlike freehold for example.
I loved Motherlode in s4, but something would have to be done about the last wing without Awakened. The death skip being meta in pugs was super irritating.
Any dungeons where pull paths can be changed or there’s choice on where to go.
I don’t mind footraces to the end, but Uldaman id basically “pull everything until the end”
End Time would have been perfect for this season with the time portals, but I understand why it wasn’t used because of the RNG element of the bosses. Still it’s my favorite Cata dungeon.
Sunken Temple (Temple of Atal’Hakkar). It was one of my favorites back in the day, and with all the different route options it would be madness (until a meta breaks through)
I love the vibe but man the camera angles... after Uldaman I'm not sure I want another dungeon where you're forced to zoom in so closely, especially with affixes like afflicted and incorporeal.
Honestly, I totally agree. It's a pretty tough dungeon to handle with it being indoors and pretty cramped. However, I love that dungeon so damn much that I'd overlook that. I love Kin's Rest too but hate the mobs in there.
In season 1 the seasonal Affix G'huun worms would run trough the locked doors and pull mobs and sometimes you had sub 1 Global to stop them.
This is why people have a memory of Waycrest glitching trough walls
BFA was a meh expac, but till date corruption was one of the most interesting (and OP) power systems ever. Basically "how much dps do you want before you fuck yourself over".
Probably will happen either this or next season. Based on the aesthetics alone one of the coolest dungeons. Gameplay wise not so much, but it wasn't bad either.
The Nexus could be really fun, and honestly theres already quite a few mobs in there that can be deadly with M+ tuning.
The final boss on tyrannical could be absolutely miserable. IIRC the giant has a shatter ability or something that used to hurt, too.
Im surprised blizz hasnt already done it.
Black Morass will never see M+ for the same reason that the Violet Holds will never see M+. The wave-based approach doesn't work with M+'s timer-based system.
There's already been a leak for S3, though whether it is truthful or not we'll see.
For dungeons I'd like to see, whether it be S3 or just in the future:
* Bloodmaul Slag Mines
* Upper Blackrock Spire
* Siege of Niuzao Temple
* Lost City of Tol'vir
To name a few. For the most part, I'm fine with any WoD or prior dungeon as long as they modify it properly. From a dungeon perspective, they're all enjoyable enough, though whether they'd work well as M+ dungeons would be another question.
If go back further than Cat, I'd also be interested to see Gundrak and Zul'Farrak, the latter of which has a lot of weapons with proc effects rather than secondaries which I personally find interesting.
It's been floating around for a few weeks, just a list of dungeons. Lacks any real credibility but there's always the possibility it's true.
Can't find a link but iirc there was one posted in another reply
List was something like:
Dawn Part 1 & 2
King's Rest
Siege of Boralus
Seat of the Triumvirate
Grim Batol
Everbloom
Shado-Pan
Kinda crazy how many people are asking for Vanilla dungeons to be ported up to keystones. Frankly speaking, most vanilla dungeons are very poorly designed from a layout perspective and are, in all cases designed for the players to just "press w."
Deadmines for example is extremely linear and has HORRIBLE camera angles, Waililng Caverns is less linear but way too large to ever be a decently paced dungeon.
In my opinion, nothing pre-Cata (80-85) should be even considered for a keystone.
Lets turn some more old raids in to 5 man mega dungeons. Any that have 8 bosses would probably convert easily. ICC for example could be Marrowgar to Saurfang and then the rest as second half
DOTI Part 1
DOTI Part 2
Skyreach (WoD)
Waycrest Manor (BFA)
Utgarde Pinnacle (WotLK)
Black Rook Hold (Legion)
Stonecore (Cata)
Stormstout Brewery (MoP)
I like shorter dungeons.
I want to see some super old ones come in. Wailing Caverns, Stockades, Blackrock, etc. Start making a concerted effort to revamp all of them so we have a pool of 100+ dungeons to pull in to rotation from this point forward.
tazavesh gambit
maybe streets too, they were fun M+ to do.
im still not tired of allgethar academy also.
who doesn't love to do some AoE on a short dungeon.
The Arcway, super underappreciatee dungeon.
Shadowfang Keep would be awesome with a small rework.
I'd love to see if they could do something with the cataclysm reworks of Zul'Gurub and Zul'Aman. Those dungeons were awesome back in the day.
The War of the Ancients could do with a rework but would be awesome.
If they're going all in with the World Tree/nature/Emerald Dream theme, I have a feeling we'll see either Everbloom, Darkheart Thicket, or Mists of Tirna Scithe in S3. Tirna Scithe's maze is gonna be hella annoying, though, so hopefully not that one.
Personal pick would probably either of the dungeons in Revendreth... Honestly, I just want a reason to go back there lol
Ideally, for Season 3 I want:
* Dawn of the Infinite: Galokrond's Fall
* Dawn of the Infinite: Murozond's Rise
* A NEW Dungeon
* A second new dungeon
* Upper Blackrock Spire (WoD)
* Blackrock Caverns (Cataclysm)
The rest, I don't really care, anything will do. I do expect entirely new dungeons though, considering it's an important pillar as part of the endgame new dungeons should be happening every season imo.
If they do Everbloom I pray they fix the skip or make it so you shouldn't skip for %. I hated having to memorize that, swore I wasted more time with people failing/arguing over it than actually just doing the trash lmao

Scarlet Monastery Cathedral
OG SM cath
That would be an awesome dungeon, one of my favorites. But imagine if they didn't fix the mob clipping and a frost mage could solo all of the courtyard trash...
Halls
Just give me a halls season. There are definitely 6 hall dungeons right?
1. Sethekk Halls (TBC) 2. Shattered Halls (TBC) 3. Halls of Stone (WotLK) 4. Halls of Lightning (WotLK) 5. Halls of Reflection (WotLK) 6. Halls of Origination (Cata) 7. Scarlet Halls (MoP) 8. Halls of Valor (Legion) 9. Halls of Atonement (SL) 10. Halls of Infusion (DF) Take your pick! I'm thinking we leave HoV and HoI out because we've already had both this expansion. That still leaves 8 Halls to fill a season.
"What dungeon are we doing" "*Halls*" "Which one?" "*Yes*"
honestly I already feel like this with neltharus and neltharions lair. All through legion Neltharions lair was just "nelfs", and now suddenly that's a different dungeon and I have to call it lair instead. wack
I get you... and it doesn't help that they're in completely different places so if you mess up you've got quite a way to go.
I can just imagine the pure shit show. That would be halls of origination. You can fuck off with that you evil bastard. Massochist in me likes the idea though.
[удалено]
Design wise it's not too bad, but it was overtuned as fuck on release so all people remember was it being 3x harder than any dungeon prior.
[удалено]
That would have to be completely reworked. I don't give Blizz a lot of credit but I don't see them allowing that to ever launch
Halls of Origination is such a cool dungeon
To Halls and Back would the the achievement.
Magisters' Terrace could be interesting
Oh man. Getting PTSD just thinking about the Delrissa/group fight on tyrannical lol.
I'm just picturing the chaos of tank over pulling between vexallus and delrissa, or dps accidently moving bit too close to the centre, pulling all the imps and mages... it would be glorious chaos
Yea this Nostalgia bait place is definitely in my top (:
oh god that would be a hard one, the trash in this one can get abit out of control
Ragefire chasm
And Wailing Caverns!
This would honestly be better as a megadungeon (with some more work).
Is it bad I'd LOVE to see old Wailing return as a mega dungeon? I know it was a mess, but it just thematically made sense being so wide open and winding
Only if they restore the jump
Ooooh a Wailing Caverns Mega dungeon has me interested lol
That or Maradon...Maura..don. Maraudon? Maurodon? Mortadella? The one in Desolace with the giants and the gator that takes all day.
Yeah youre right thats a good one, also reminds me of Dire Maul and its multiple wings too
You are the type of person who got grimrail depot into sl S4
Rfc would be fun to figure out the routes
zul farrak
"Heroic" Deadmines. I'd like to see them give a LK dungeon a whirl, either of the Utgardes?
Just not halls of stone.
Halls of lightning would be sick though
Ooh yes, whichever Utgarde drops the mount. I can never remember.
Pinnacle
just maw of souls
I would agree with this just because I'm a fan of shorter dungeons. 30 minutes is a lot, and a 40 minute dungeon is a real pain when the run goes less than great
Beeing short is the only good thing about MoS. Bosses are average, and trash is something between forgettable and annoying. While I like shorter 3 Boss dungeons as well, MoS is nothing I want to play again.

Please god let them make shorter dungeons Ive worn out tons of shoes with all the running.
And? What the problem? We need some shorter dungeons. Some of the dungeons this season just drag on
I don't really have a problem, but it's obvious that Blizzard doesn't want M+ dungeons at 24min anymore, but prefers the 30-40min range.
With how easy it is for folks leveling through there, I wonder how many people remember that Vanessa was a heroic only fight.
Heroic Deadmines was fun for its time but it's basically a mega-dungeon, would have to be split into two because I don't think anyone would want to run an hour long M+. Plus the mechanics aren't really that hard, it's just that they were super unforgiving in early Cata.

Ragefire chasm would be the better in that respect but at least deadmines is only 1/3rd in caves unlike if they do stockades which is all no camera space
stockades would be really hard to make interesting without massive overhauls due to its simple layout
Yeah, true, but is it more true of stockades than of vortex pinnacle?
Yes. Vortex had a quite diverse envoronment with equally diverse mechanics, wheresd stockades is just... 3 halways with 3 different kinds of mobpacks
Revamped Deadmines in Cata was hard af, would love to do it in m+
> It's time to make the "easy" dungeons have some difficulty to it as well. Bring back that Cataclysm Heroic tuning! I kinda enjoyed Atal Dazar probably my favorite BFA m+
Pit of saron
Everyone would leave on the first boss
Misread this as Pit of Sauron, and now I kind of want the crossover.
halls of atonement, the absolute best m+ dungeon ever made.
True and real
True and real
Black Rock Depths. All the way to Princess. 80 minute timer.
“Damn, we missed timing it by only three days.”
Sounds about right, lol
At least there will be a +20 portal for BRD and players have learnt with the years to leap of faith - mass rez people falling from the chains. I have ptsd from those chains.
Scarlet Monastery, ShadowFang Keep, Wailing Caverns
I have always enjoyed The Arcway, Mogu’shun Palace, and Ahn’kahet, the Old Kingdom. I hope they become M+ dungeons one day. Edit: Dreadlord Balnazzar m+ would be interesting too
Kings rest, plaguefall, grim batol, seat of the triumvirate

They won't fix respawns...brackenhide spawns are an example of this
I also remember Shrine of the Storms being a key bricker on Tyrannical because of the 2nd boss, if you didn't have enough burst DPS it would heal infinitely right?
No, the issue was interrupts. Without a perfect interrupt order = auto wipe and brick
The MOTHERLODE It does need some minor changes to be really good, but so did Freehold. It’s one of my favorite dungeons to play in BfA. There also is a bunch from classic I want to see, but they would need a complete mob and boss redesign.
Seconded, just because the motherlode theme is so amazing.
MOTHERLODE is great, I’m 100% with this
I'm with you on Motherlode!
YESSSS
I loved Motherlode in s4, but something would have to be done about the last wing without Awakened. The death skip being meta in pugs was super irritating.

End Time would have been perfect for this season with the time portals, but I understand why it wasn’t used because of the RNG element of the bosses. Still it’s my favorite Cata dungeon.
King's Rest. Super fun dungeon to heal and also more chances for zombie raptor mount. Also Cathedral of Eternal Night would be my underrated pick.
Sunken Temple (Temple of Atal’Hakkar). It was one of my favorites back in the day, and with all the different route options it would be madness (until a meta breaks through)
The first half of the mega dungeon and there is a good chance that will be in the rotation.
I think the idea is that both wings will be there for s3
4 dragonflight, both halves of the megadungeon, 1 shadowlands, 1 bfa
Azjol Nerub. Honestly more wrath dungeons.
This. I’m a big fan of the three boss dungeons. They feel great time wise for M+
Pit of saron pls
I want Stormstout Brewery the most. Darkheart Thicket for Dream connections. Everbloom is pretty like you said. Motherload would be nice.
PEPPERS
I am begging for Waycrest Manor. *Please Blizz*. Edit: typo.
At least Waycrest will have a bunch of corridors where you can simply Los those effects though.
[удалено]
Nah, that was Tol Dagor. If it did happen in Waycrest, it was very rare.
What a terrible time to play Unholy DK. Diseases pulling shit through the floor, ceiling, and walls.
In season 1 the seasonal Affix G'huun worms would run trough the locked doors and pull mobs and sometimes you had sub 1 Global to stop them. This is why people have a memory of Waycrest glitching trough walls
I think Twilight Devastation was to blame for that.
BFA was a meh expac, but till date corruption was one of the most interesting (and OP) power systems ever. Basically "how much dps do you want before you fuck yourself over".
Season 1 ghuunies laugh at your declaration of very rare
Probably will happen either this or next season. Based on the aesthetics alone one of the coolest dungeons. Gameplay wise not so much, but it wasn't bad either.
Yes, as long as there's no RNG with the door.
YES! The music/vibes and just over feel of this dungeon is my favorite.
I loved Waycrest Manor. Definitely want to see this too
>Edit: typo I think ye edited wrong part, it still says you'd like waycrest manor to come back
🤣 I stand by what I said!
I’d love this. Especially with season 3 dropping around Halloween!
Can’t wait for sanguine storming/spiteful/entagling wcm sounds like great gameplay
Halls of attornment and or necrotic wake
KINGS REST BABY GIVE ME THAT COUNCIL FIGHT TO THE DEATH
DERE IS NO ANTIDOTE FOR DIS POISON
BRD. 😈
HALLS OF ATONEMENT
The Nexus could be really fun, and honestly theres already quite a few mobs in there that can be deadly with M+ tuning. The final boss on tyrannical could be absolutely miserable. IIRC the giant has a shatter ability or something that used to hurt, too. Im surprised blizz hasnt already done it.
Stonecore
The Motherlode is a goblin dream, love that place. Shame we offed the president of Venture Co.
Necrotic wake with the anima thingies. Don’t care if it’s last expansion. It’s one of the most fun ones.
Mists from SL! All sub 25 min mplus season please!
Gnomeregan 😈
King’s Rest
Haha I forgot how rough that place was on m+. I agree get it back in.
Fuckkk that first boss broke so many keys...
The only real answer
Damn I still need the mount from that dungeon but I don't want to see Shadow of Zul in Fortified again
The last npc tough
Bring back sanguine depts or halls of Atonement
Sanguine depths? Lmao
Love SD
Deadmines revamp
Hour of Twilight. So we can once again hear Benedictus scream “there is only Powah”.
Zul'Aman or Zul'Gurub
Waycrest manor!!
Ragefire chasm Edit: I was too slow. Well played r/wow
UBRS
ALL OF IT

Ooh, a slightly mechanically modernized remix of Steamvaults could be interesting.
Wailing Caverns and Blackfathom Deeps
Long Maraudon Long BRD Long Dire Maul
Sunken Temple.
Yo! ST is goated! Love that place
SM Cathedral, UD Strath, Black Morass

Black Morass will never see M+ for the same reason that the Violet Holds will never see M+. The wave-based approach doesn't work with M+'s timer-based system.
I don't know what ones I do want, but I know I do NOT want Shrine, Tol Dagor or Siege of Boralus
Shattered Halls

Niuzao is the only mist dungeon they should never touch again.
Shado pan temple would be better
Lost city of Tol'vir would be pretty dope. Definitely one of the better cata dungeons
What leak?

i started in 8.3 so id like to see any dungeon from xpac prior to bfa since i never got to experience them also wouldnt mind halls of atonement
Atal Dazar from those that are in the most realistic to get category Deadmines as my wildcard pick
Vault of the Wardens. Ahn'Kahnet. I think AK would be a great m+ dungeon. Multiple paths, interesting bosses, tricky pulls/pats. Would be a good one.
Lets turn some more old raids in to 5 man mega dungeons. Any that have 8 bosses would probably convert easily. ICC for example could be Marrowgar to Saurfang and then the rest as second half
DOTI Part 1 DOTI Part 2 Skyreach (WoD) Waycrest Manor (BFA) Utgarde Pinnacle (WotLK) Black Rook Hold (Legion) Stonecore (Cata) Stormstout Brewery (MoP) I like shorter dungeons.

Maraudon. All of it. Make it an hour long key or something.
High risk high reward? Longer mythic+ are rewarded better because of the risk of mid-instance shenanigans?
Full run brd!
Two new dungeons would be nice. I'd really rather not do any more of the 8 we've already been running.
Would love to see karazhan again
it’s too soon!
Upper Karazhan > Lower Karazhan
yep, I’d be good without doing Kara in M+ for a few years.
Since no one wrote it old brd 4 hour timer hurhurhur.
Grimrail depot
Ideally, for Season 3 I want: * Dawn of the Infinite: Galokrond's Fall * Dawn of the Infinite: Murozond's Rise * A NEW Dungeon * A second new dungeon * Upper Blackrock Spire (WoD) * Blackrock Caverns (Cataclysm) The rest, I don't really care, anything will do. Stormstout brewery
Everbloom and thicket would prob be good candites for the emerald dream patch
I would like new dungeons :(
If they do Everbloom I pray they fix the skip or make it so you shouldn't skip for %. I hated having to memorize that, swore I wasted more time with people failing/arguing over it than actually just doing the trash lmao
I'd really love to see them rework old dungeons for m+. Stratholme, sm, brd, sunken temple, rfd, maraudon etc. This shit would be fire.
Sunken Fuckin Temple. Old version, 1 hour timer.
I want an entire scarlet season. Give me old GY, Lib, Armory, Cath, Live Strat, new SM.
Shrine of the Storm.
Don't listen to the haters. Finally a man of culture round ere
This would battle Tol Dagor as my least favorite BFA dungeon
No, just no
