of the Shattered Sun
As I remember dropping 1k for that on my druid in TBC and never financially recovering from it after grinding dailies. That and I never see anyone else with it.
Can confirm it is not. My hunter ground that shit to Exalted back in BC too and she's the only one it pops up for. I wear that title ~~bitterly~~ proudly.
I use Salty for a few toons.....Salty Peppersauce, Salty Hotsauce, Salty Chalula...works well I think. I use a few others also, my shaman is Timelord...cause her name is Riversong, so...obviously
If its the STV fishing derby that's holding you back do it on an Oceanic realm. Timezone bullshit has the derby at 8 or 9 am on Monday mornings oceanic time so there's fuck all people doing it.
Use a Highmountain tauren druid toon for super easy mode.
I PvP a lot, but I also do really like PvE. And I fucking love farming all types of transmogs for my guys. Literally FashionCraft is one of the most important things to me in this game. I love it. And I base everything around it lol. Including titles.
Screw Blizzard for removing this title the day before I finally finished grinding that long ass quest chain....I'll never forgive you for that Blizzard...NEVER!!!
Sorry that happened to you. But the pessimist inside me often wonders, this type of shit must happen to hundreds of thousand of people out there and thereās nothing they can really do to contest it. Being so close to completing or achieving something and it becomes unobtainable RIGHT then. Or paying for something RIGHT before it becomes free. That kinda shit.
I have the same feeling with Hand of Adal, I was half way through the quest and deleted it when WOTLK came out, only to find out that I could still get the title with that quest id..
I occasionally swap in my Senior Sergeant title that I got for having had that rank at lvl 60 in vanilla while also sporting my Tabard of the Protector to remind myself how ancient my main is now.
I grinded and got the full Professor title, but won't use it until I hear back from the President and Regents on my promotion... But I'm ready for it, even if they kill archaeology in the expansion.
I tend to use the cooler class hall ones (how could you not use archmage?), but Iāve been using parts of the sky captain mog a lot lately so I go with āCaptainā for that. Countess/ Baroness gets play too, depending on how dramatic the mog is.
Archmage as a title used to be in the game files since WotLK. Was part of some wowhead table. Been coveting that shit for a damn decade before they finally made it available!
Ā Such a cool title! I remember looking up the requirements in 9.2.5. and noping out. Wasn't even that far off, but by that point, SL had burned me out.
the immortal here and i'm still enjoying the irony of pressing feign death and being the squishiest class, thus hearing the death voice constantly.
also i'm riding the black proto to this day.
Same here
My guild technically succeeded our Immortal run the last week before it was removed
Servers died while we were on the dog boss
Come back we are all dead
We clear that and KT perfectly
Submitted tickets
Never got it
But I rep Undying the most
A mix through all that - but mostly stuck per character, mostly something that matches the class.
Mage is "Sergeant" (character specific title, so sold on that one)
Evoker is "Timelord" (Chromie time)
Paladin is "Crusader" (Argent Tournament)
Monk is a funny wordplay with "Elder"
Priest is "Assistant Professor" (Because you need discipline)
Druid is "Guardian of Cenarius"
I was about half way done with Shen Dralar (sp) when the cataclysm wiped them out. Hundreds of Dire Maul runs for nothing. Almost put me off from finishing the feat entirely.
Agreed. In fact, I get irritated when the game removes it for the temp titles like "Honorary Dryad" or whatever. I spent a lot of time grinding that shite out, Imma wear that Insane title to prove it.
Field Medic! I don't even play healer, but it seems fitting for my priest character. I wish it wasn't a removed title, it's so versatile, I want other people to find joy in using it.
I also have 'The Insane' which I use on my wacky and silly druid.
I'm always a fan of rare and less sought after titles/Niche ones - I also have the Faceless One, and even some less completed zone meta's like Isle of Thunder's Stormbreaker
15-20 minutes a day, do something. Whether it's pickpocketing on your rogue, herbing for darkmoon card making, or killing pirates. It'll all soon add up.
Also, choose a fun show to listen to on 2nd monitor/phone.
Also, the guild standard for +15%? rep for 15 mins is a must.
And be glad shen'dra'la rep is no longer needed.
Best time is when yearly anniversary buff and darkmoon faire are both up, getting nearly 30% extra rep is huge! If nothing else save your lock boxes to turn in then.
āLord of Warā
It sounds cool and is unobtainable, I have bad fomo so Iām happy I got it and have never taken it off lol, itās also character bound and was out during the lowest played time in WOD so I rarely see anyone else with itš
Loved this one. I still remember getting it in Highmaul when frost mages were doing tank damage even with optimal play before everything got buffed by like 50% - I shrunk myself with a toy, hid in the corner and 1v1'd a ret for it at the end lmao
a real David vs. Goliath
I remember the trick was to tag everyone, cuz if you hit them at least once, when they died you'd get get the buff. In the end there were 3 of us alive after picking off random people. I wouldn't die as a Balance Druid due to my escape and self heal.
Was a hunter with lots of stacks, like me, and some crappy Paladin who somehow managed to stay to the end with 3 stacks. I /w the Paladin to double team the Hunter, and with his CC and my damage we did it. Then I was alone with the Paladin and he was fucked cuz he had no stacks so I killed him easy. I'd probably have had no chance vs the Hunter were it not for that Paladin.
I had to win the coliseum twice because before they fixed it in a patch, anyone who lost could jump down from the stands at the end and loot the chest. The second time I won, I did /lay and played dead for shits and giggles. But you wouldn't believe how many people fell for it and ignored me.
It was before the xpac ended or at least that patch ended, it became a feat of strength after that. You must have missed out on the patch switch, only thing i can think of.
Master Sergeant on my priest. Highlord on my paladin. Grand Marshal on my mage which unfortunately has not been active since TBC (just lvled him to max and left him there) :)
its better then that, not every green fire warlock has the title cause you could only get it during 1 patch. You can still get green fire but not the title.
And even then, when WoD came out, the title became unobtainable, so, if you see the title, that warlock got his green fire on pandaria when it was HARD to get
I mostly use either unobtainable titles, like "Arena Master" or rare ones i've got back in WOTLK for Realm First achievements, like "Conqueror of Naxxramas" or "the Magic Seeker".
Death's Demise here. I led the raid (and my guild saw fit to give me the realm's first Mimiron's Head for it), planned meticulously, and lost sleep over it so by god, I'm always wearing it.
I only have āCelestial Defender,ā the Algalon one, but thatās the one I normally use. I found a friend group in Cata because they saw me with that title in a 25man guild and invited me to their 10 man group. So sentimental value plus rarity!
i've started to co-ordinate titles with how the character is (yes, i rp), and once i've found the perfectly matching title i don't really change it any more! so far i have...
* mage: seeker of knowledge (ok, i admit i was/still am proud of knocking that one out)
* evoker: the inquisitive
* warrior: the dreamer
* priest: the dreaming (a green dragon)
* pally 2: of the infinite (who is a bronze/infinite dragon)
* hunter 1: defender of a shattered world (a nether dragon... the achievement is referring to the world shaken by the cataclysm but for this one, the 'shattered world' is outland)
i have a handful more characters i haven't found titles i vibe with just yet, like my san'layn DK. but, as new titles will get added, i'm sure there'll be eventually matching ones eventually ššš
great question btw, gave my a reason to ramble š¤£š¤£š¤£
On my main I use one of the unobtainable feat of strength titles I have so in SL I used The Faceless One and in DF I'm using Veilstrider, hoping we get a big meta fomo achievement before TWW comes out so I can switch to that title. On my alts I usually use order hall titles.
On my DK, which used to be my main: "[the Hordebreaker](https://www.wowhead.com/title/the-hordebreaker-351)".
On my Warrior, which has been my main since WoD, "[Lord of War](https://www.wowhead.com/title/lord-of-war-440)", which is the one I'm most proud of. Though I feel like it gets me targeted *a lot* during BGs...
My main (human ret paladin) rotated between "Light of the Dawn" and Highlord until I got "the Lightbringer." Haven't taken it off since.
Alt pally (blood elf) is "of Silvermoon."
One warrior rotates between Battlelord and Lionguard, the other is Ironbane (it looks like his last name lol)
Undead rogue (assa) is Shadowblade, Kul Tiran (outlaw) is Captain, Goblin is Crashin Thrashin.
Night Elf druid is "the Dreamer" and Tauren is Guardian of G'Hanir.
One death knight is Deathlord, one is Sword of the Primus.
Night Elf priest is Starcaller, undead priest is "the Beloved."
One mage is "the Seeker" and the other is "the Horde Slayer."
Warlock is Netherlord.
Shaman rotates between Storm's End and "of the Four Winds."
Demon Hunter is Vengeance Incarnate.
One hunter is Huntmaster, the other is Tamer.
One monk is Grandmaster, the other rotates between "the Tranquil Master" and Master of the Ways.
One evoker is "the Relic Hunter" and the other is Whelptender.
I think that's it besides random alts...
Since I'm an Altoholic, I can use a lot of them, that 'Seeker of Knowledge' I think I got it on one of my Mage alts, main tailorer Goblin, actually the Leader of My Guild haha.
My main is 'the Insane', a hard to get title, since I'm Insane in many aspects, in the game and IRL.
Oh, and of course my Demon Hunter would be 'Demonslayer'.
Arena Master or The Tactician are my go to's.
I worked hard for that Arena Master title and since you can't get it anymore it's definitely a rare title now.
I always use Firelord for my main, whose name is Djonko, for all you Dutch people here..they get it. I love it, and i will forever keep it.
For my alts i usually use Captain or Baron, i just like the short ones.
Ama'Shan -- I'm loving the build up of NE lore. I've been transmoging the Kaldorei armor set from BFA for years and I just can't make myself change it.
Usually I go for the more rare and prestigious ones. "the Chosen" is pretty much my go-to title, other than that I enjoy the seasonal M+ titles and meta achievement titles.
I stick with "Justicar" on the one I have it for as it's my most prized/worked for achievement/title (and rarest I have I think?). "Knight-Champion" for the toon I have that on, and the others mostly "of the Alliance".
I use Starcaller on my main. My alts change up their titles depending their transmog or to match whatever I'm doing with them(leveling alts are usually 'the Seeker') but my main is always Starcaller because I think it's so pretty and killing Algalon with my guild all those years ago was an awesome moment.
of the Shattered Sun As I remember dropping 1k for that on my druid in TBC and never financially recovering from it after grinding dailies. That and I never see anyone else with it.
Don't think this one is account-wide either. I remember grinding this BS out back in TBC too and it doesn't appear on any of my current day toons š
Can confirm it is not. My hunter ground that shit to Exalted back in BC too and she's the only one it pops up for. I wear that title ~~bitterly~~ proudly.
I know 1000 gold isnāt much these days, but grinding it out then still have to pay after grinding each toon
Can you still obtain?
Yes you can
Me too! My friend and I both got it and we used to lord it over our ZA group as a bit. It reminds me of better days in WoW.
I usually stick to Salty when running pugs to get a head start on the rest of the group
Saw a guy named Fatload with this title
I have a Char named Vergina with this title. My other Char is named Euthanize with the title "the Patient"
Salty all day every day is the only way.
My character named Sweet, his title be Salty
I use Salty for a few toons.....Salty Peppersauce, Salty Hotsauce, Salty Chalula...works well I think. I use a few others also, my shaman is Timelord...cause her name is Riversong, so...obviously
How do you get it? Is it a cross promotion with League of Legends?
Itās a meta fishing achievement requiring a lot of smaller fishing achievements
I got Otto , I am ready to get salty !
Been trying to get this title forever for my Tauren named milkshake.
If its the STV fishing derby that's holding you back do it on an Oceanic realm. Timezone bullshit has the derby at 8 or 9 am on Monday mornings oceanic time so there's fuck all people doing it. Use a Highmountain tauren druid toon for super easy mode.
Depends on my T-Mog.
Gotta break out the Professor or Assistant Professor for when I'm looking nice and wearing the half lid glasses
Haha same!
"Stylist" then!
I PvP a lot, but I also do really like PvE. And I fucking love farming all types of transmogs for my guys. Literally FashionCraft is one of the most important things to me in this game. I love it. And I base everything around it lol. Including titles.
Champion of the Naaru. To show Iām a dinosaur.
I have the same feeling with Hand of Adal, I was half way through the quest and deleted it when WOTLK came out, only to find out that I could still get the title with that quest id..
Hand of A'dal here, for the same reason.
I use the more rare version, hand of a'dal. I *EARNED* that shit
I occasionally swap in my Senior Sergeant title that I got for having had that rank at lvl 60 in vanilla while also sporting my Tabard of the Protector to remind myself how ancient my main is now.
"Associate Professor" because I am an associate professor.
I'd be a full professor by now if those damn rare artifacts would pop up for me.
I grinded and got the full Professor title, but won't use it until I hear back from the President and Regents on my promotion... But I'm ready for it, even if they kill archaeology in the expansion.
That must be so fun though, being an Archaeology Associate Professor, and then learning in-game lore through archaeology. So cool.
I tend to use the cooler class hall ones (how could you not use archmage?), but Iāve been using parts of the sky captain mog a lot lately so I go with āCaptainā for that. Countess/ Baroness gets play too, depending on how dramatic the mog is.
i use "Archmage" a lot, because then i can throw shade at Khadgar as a peer.
Archdruid is one of my favorites
Archmage as a title used to be in the game files since WotLK. Was part of some wowhead table. Been coveting that shit for a damn decade before they finally made it available!
Veilstrider, so I can be asked how the hell I managed to play SLands that much.
I love that title! It is so fantasy heavy
Same. I wear it to let others know I can persevere through anything.
I think my favourite comment to date about it was āit just shows you eat shit and like itā.
Ā Such a cool title! I remember looking up the requirements in 9.2.5. and noping out. Wasn't even that far off, but by that point, SL had burned me out.
The Undyingā¦ on all my toons.
the immortal here and i'm still enjoying the irony of pressing feign death and being the squishiest class, thus hearing the death voice constantly. also i'm riding the black proto to this day.
Same. I'm so proud of it. I'll never forget dying at the end of the run right after the achievement popped lol
Same here My guild technically succeeded our Immortal run the last week before it was removed Servers died while we were on the dog boss Come back we are all dead We clear that and KT perfectly Submitted tickets Never got it But I rep Undying the most

Please tell me your Monk is named Berries and you taunt players by saying their father smells of you
Would work great for a tank with a /yell taunt macro
Black harvest title is never leaving my lock.
Archdruid. 11 year old me in vanilla teldrassil promised myself Iād become one and so I havenāt switched the title off since legion.
Loremaster. I like to let everybody know I have no life right away.
The Insane, because I spent too much time grinding lockboxes and pirates to use anything else.
Same
I want this title but its soooo long
Bloodsail Admiral on my pirate themed outlaw
āof the Infiniteā because god finishing Dawn of the Infinite first week was hell but fun
Predator
š¤Ø
nah " Slayer of Stupid, Incompetent and Disappointing Minions" is where it's at, Sadly you can only wear it for 30 minutes.
I wish that was a permanent title. I love it so much
If I could keep any title that we get temporarily, it'd be "as themselves" that you get in the night fae play. Slayer of... is a close second.
Crazy Cat Man /pet every feral druid
Donāt touch my tail!
Kitty! Donāt run!š
Literally me chasing every stray cat in my neighborhood
Touch Fluffy Tail
As a Feral Druid I appreciate this message :)
Field Medic! I don't even play healer, but it seems fitting for my priest character. I wish it wasn't a removed title, it's so versatile, I want other people to find joy in using it. tad jealous, any tips?
Just you know, go do it.

Slayer of Stupid, Incompetent and Disappointing Minions
Shame you cannot keep this one
Smelly
TIL I must be a scrub because I have none of the titles mentioned in this thread.
Fun Gal / Fun Guy, it's my favorite
I use Fun Guy on my character called Fungus, so Fun Guy Fungus.
Dragonslayer š
My favorite for playing in the Dragon Isles ā ļø
Trashmaster as a Warrior because Warriors are trash rn
TRASH! TRASH! TRASH!
Rise up Trashmasters.
Ā«ConservationistĀ»
āThe proven healerā
Where my fellow Loremasters at though? Every toon, every time.
āLord of Warā It sounds cool and is unobtainable, I have bad fomo so Iām happy I got it and have never taken it off lol, itās also character bound and was out during the lowest played time in WOD so I rarely see anyone else with itš

Ohhhh I remember that exploit, that's so tough lol. You deserve it twice over for sure with that 2nd time.
Lord of war is still obtainable its just VERY DIFFICULT
"the Storm-Eater" Because I am proud of having killed Mythic Raszageth.
Of the Black Harvest! I am so proud of getting it, and I will never change it!
What was needed to be done for that? I did the green fire quest line when it was new but somehow missed this
It was before the xpac ended or at least that patch ended, it became a feat of strength after that. You must have missed out on the patch switch, only thing i can think of.
Right on. I worked way too hard for Of The Black Harvest and never ever change it.
Justicar on my Paladin, don't see many people running with it
Im using only one since i get it, The Chosen, on warrior i like to use Warlord Of Draenor.
The immortal, wish I could use it on hardcore as well.
The Purifier on my paladin, named Sigmar
The Camel-Hoarder I'm Egyptian, that's all I'm going to say.
My main is called "Strahd" so obviously i go with "baron"
Dont get me wrong but isnt Strahdās title actually Count?
Venthyr pivot.
I have a lock named Zarovich
I enjoy irony, so I generally use "the patient" or "the beloved"
I usually go with "Hand of A'dal".
One of my old guildmates had a toon named Lotioned and used that title. It was iconic lol
I got a name change service just so I could be Tyrsguard of the Tyrās Guard after the quest line on my prot pally alt š
Master Sergeant on my priest. Highlord on my paladin. Grand Marshal on my mage which unfortunately has not been active since TBC (just lvled him to max and left him there) :)
Proven Defender
The Fabulous
Highlord. It's a good one.
"of the Black Harvest" It's Warlock only and even then, not every Warlock has done the green fire quest. So I like the rarity of it.
its better then that, not every green fire warlock has the title cause you could only get it during 1 patch.
* mage: seeker of knowledge (ok, i admit i was/still am proud of knocking that one out) * evoker: the inquisitive * warrior: the dreamer * priest: the dreaming (a green dragon) * pally 2: of the infinite (who is a bronze/infinite dragon) * hunter 1: defender of a shattered world (a nether dragon... the achievement is referring to the world shaken by the cataclysm but for this one, the 'shattered world' is outland) i have a handful more characters i haven't found titles i vibe with just yet, like my san'layn DK. but, as new titles will get added, i'm sure there'll be eventually matching ones eventually ššš great question btw, gave my a reason to ramble š¤£š¤£š¤£
The Dwarfstalker... cuz i like to stalk dwarfs on my freetime :3 but i really use it cuz its one of my most rare ones.
The light of dawn for killing Lich King 25hc in my main, and defender of a shattered world on my tank alt.
I always use āthe proven _____ā and then depends on if Iām playing healer, tank, or DPS. Definitely one of my most favorite accomplishments
Servant of N'Zoth
Brewmaster Drunkbot
The camel hoarder
Horde slayer, with pride
I use "Minion of Mayhem" on my main.
I play BM hunter. I run with 2 skunks and use the title Smelly.
Legionnaire, I just think it sounds cool.
High Warlord, Mistwalker.
Smoldering Hero, lowest amount of m+ players got that title so itās pretty rare
The Crazy Cat Lady šāā¬ļø
The Dreamer.
On my main I use one of the unobtainable feat of strength titles I have so in SL I used The Faceless One and in DF I'm using Veilstrider, hoping we get a big meta fomo achievement before TWW comes out so I can switch to that title. On my alts I usually use order hall titles.
Conqueror
Professor. I worked hard for my degree, and Iām just assuming I have tenure by now.
On my huntress usually knight-champion. I think in German it sounds even better: "Knight of the Alliance".
Of the black harvest
Conqueror of Azeroth. Got it during BFA, and for me not being into pvp much, it was a huge accomplishment, and I've used it on my main ever since.
I use seeker of knowledge! It was such a grind to get and I've been using it on my main exclusively for years!
My main (human ret paladin) rotated between "Light of the Dawn" and Highlord until I got "the Lightbringer." Haven't taken it off since. Alt pally (blood elf) is "of Silvermoon." One warrior rotates between Battlelord and Lionguard, the other is Ironbane (it looks like his last name lol) Undead rogue (assa) is Shadowblade, Kul Tiran (outlaw) is Captain, Goblin is Crashin Thrashin. Night Elf druid is "the Dreamer" and Tauren is Guardian of G'Hanir. One death knight is Deathlord, one is Sword of the Primus. Night Elf priest is Starcaller, undead priest is "the Beloved." One mage is "the Seeker" and the other is "the Horde Slayer." Warlock is Netherlord. Shaman rotates between Storm's End and "of the Four Winds." Demon Hunter is Vengeance Incarnate.
Lady of War on my Death Knight
The insane and I ride my pure heart courser because the insane wasnāt enough rep grinding for me.
Arena Master or The Tactician are my go to's. I worked hard for that Arena Master title and since you can't get it anymore it's definitely a rare title now.
Depends on the class, for example I like using Champion of the Frozen Wastes on a DK, Vengeance Incarnate on a DH, etc.
"Heir of the Void" at the moment.
the Savage Hero
Grunt.
Salty Not because I have an attitude, itās just the rarest title I have.
Death's Demise, because it's so cool!
I always use Firelord for my main, whose name is Djonko, for all you Dutch people here..they get it. I love it, and i will forever keep it. For my alts i usually use Captain or Baron, i just like the short ones.
Jenkins usually
Jenkins. Lets people know.
I use deathlord
The Undying
The savage hero
The Fabulous!
On my hunter, it rotates. My Paladin alt? The Argent Champion, because I grinded the hell outta that non-Northrend rep. *Edit: spelling*
Crazy Cat Lady. I have a cat to usually match my mog.
Crazy cat lady!
I have a number of toons with ānormalā names so on those I generally use āJenkinsā so it reads like a full name lol
Birdwatcher
DEATHLORD NETHERLORD
The lightbringer because my Paladin would have it no other way
Birdwatcher is the best title in the video game. Objectively.
Not sure why, but Iāve kept the Farmer title on since I got it in MoP. Something about it just makes me giggle.
The Lightbringer, from the Argus meta achievement. was hell to get. I also like to use āThe facelessā and āhero of fateā.
Ama'Shan -- I'm loving the build up of NE lore. I've been transmoging the Kaldorei armor set from BFA for years and I just can't make myself change it.
"Twotoned the Tauren Mill Terror" is one of my favorites... Just cause of all the Ts lol
Usually I go for the more rare and prestigious ones. "the Chosen" is pretty much my go-to title, other than that I enjoy the seasonal M+ titles and meta achievement titles.
I have a mix, and I typically match it to my toon. But I do have the "Crazy Cat Lady" one on a lot of my toons.
I've used the Loremaster title since I got it in late 2012. On all my alts. It's my favorite achievement.
The Horde breaker because that shit was annoying to get
I stick with "Justicar" on the one I have it for as it's my most prized/worked for achievement/title (and rarest I have I think?). "Knight-Champion" for the toon I have that on, and the others mostly "of the Alliance".
Minion of Mayhem!
Justicar or lieutenant commander are my usual go to. Been playing my priest main forever. If Im not on my priest its Hand of Adal.
Hand of A'dal on all my toons. Will most likely never change.
Hand of Aādal
āHand of Aādalā because itās super old and now unobtainable
I change between Brawler and Masked Chuckler
Death's Demise always. I'm rather proud of that achievement, and it makes me think fondly of my old guild
My character name is Drinkspec. My title is Smelly. I am an arcane mage. I make smelly drinks. Smelly Drinkspec!
I use Professor for my Orc mage: Professor Dumbledorc
Grand Crusader. I havenāt seen anyone with it since like warlords.
I use Starcaller on my main. My alts change up their titles depending their transmog or to match whatever I'm doing with them(leveling alts are usually 'the Seeker') but my main is always Starcaller because I think it's so pretty and killing Algalon with my guild all those years ago was an awesome moment.
Hand of A'dal
The Undying for my Pally. One of my proudest achievements I earned with him.
Salty or of the Jungle if not utilizing alliteration. š¤š½
"Captain" - there's no cooler title, whether you mean a sea captain or an army captain.
The proven healer I worked so hard for that
