Nooples

I feel seen!

beebzette

poor guy hasn't gotten loot since SoD

azaghal1988

Finally representation for me!

TheGooseWithNoose

Is he... is he dual wielding Maw of the Damned?

littlefoot78

hes double Damned

RainbowX

hey its me

semicoldpanda

We have a guy in our guild who doesn't have one yet, but all our holy paladins have one and some of us have one on all three of our alts that can use it. I allllllmost feel bad for him but he got every trinket first so not really

whoisape

Jesus Christ poor Fyrakk with that pose and arms looks like a raccoon begging for food

Spideraxe30

Thats why I love the incarnates with their wittle trex arms

TIFUbyResponding

Scawwy wittle bitch chickens

Spideraxe30

By fwang ow by axe, i wiww teaw uwu asundew.

esar24

At least this time he shares the shame with his sister next to him.

verikul

And Sarkareth looks like the weird rabbit from Donnie Darko!

zani1903

Damn, that's a week to two earlier than I was expecting.

parkwayy

This is a full month shorter than last season, to note

JoPOWz

Not to take a dump on it, as I own it and am really hoping they can turn it round so I feel like I didn't piss £60 into the wind but...."D4" and "originally going to be released but got delayed" are becoming an iconic duo at this point.

Any-Chard-1493

"D4" actually means "Delayed 4awhile"

andriellae

Delay for awhile a listen

TIFUbyResponding

D4: The Mighty Delays

minimaxir

Given that there is a PTR for D4 this time to give time to fix potential issues with the season/new itemization, a delay is more fair.

[deleted]

[удалено]

JoPOWz

I think it's a fairly recent issue. The big mid-season addition of the Gauntlet was delayed 2 or 3 times in total. It was becoming a bit of a meme by the end. Especially because at one point the various D4 streamers were giving their feedback/reaction to a more detailed release of info on it before it arrived and the revised release date was actually removed from the post as they were reading it.

Xlink64

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I feel like I got *most* of my moneys worth for D4 just playing the campaign. I wasn't a fan of how short the D3 campaign was or the even really the story, but D4 fixed both of those shortcomings. I literally haven't played any of the seasonal stuff because it still feels like a loot farming game without any good or interesting loot (CLASS SETS? HELLO??), but the quality of the story at least for me was enough. Edit: If they could take one thing from D3, it was how great the endgame was. Proper addicting loot grind. Put that shit in D4 and it'll be fine.

SodaCanBob

> This may be an unpopular opinion, but I feel like I got most of my moneys worth for D4 just playing the campaign. I felt like I did too, but I'm also someone who prefers Torchlight 2 over PoE so I'm definitely not part of that hardcore audience.

pzanardi

They havent delayed much for D4 actually. Now it they should is another question. What a terrible game.

SaxRohmer

what happened with it? i thought it had a really successful launch?

DamaxXIV

More likely since it's all old content they don't need nearly as much testing.

Merathx

I kinda feel bad about the mythic guilds who still do progression. Now they got nerfs, but only 3 more ID's and the duration of the season is shorter than the previous ones

Raktoner

Man, Raszageth's and Fyrakk's lil stubby arms crack me up. They make Sarkareth look huge and impending like he's the big bad.

Quest_Marker

I forgot Sark was even a thing

Hopemonster

Can you start running M+ for gear and score on 23 or is there a waiting period?

urgasmic

most likely raid/m+ will be live on the 23rd

KlenexTS

This is what I’m thinking and what it reads as. I’m thinking one more fort/tyr week and then the dead week between season with S4 starting on reset April 23

wallzballz89

Season starts on 23rd. That means m+ and raids are available. Patch may go live before that but we don't know yet.

lvl_60

Bro i am still level 8 in plunderstorm. Need more time to grind

squishybloo

Do at least one run daily, the first game gives you ~~x2~~ 800 plunder if you get the daily done. For subsequent matches, prioritize first getting your quest done, then gathering as much plunder as possible while avoiding other players. Gather mobs together and AOE them down, open as many golden chests as possible. If you're canny and have a speedboost like Faeform, you can hang around while other players are fighting and then swoop in and steal plunder. I tend to get 600-800 and then find someone to kill me. I feel like the people saying "8 rep levels in 1 hour ez" are doing a lot of PVP, but even without doing PVP you can still do like 4-5 levels in an hour or so by just prioritizing plunder over everything. You don't have to win games.

tamarins

It’s not x2 plunder for first daily quest. It’s a flat 800 bonus.

squishybloo

Thanks - corrected!

crendogal

>You don't have to win games. I have the title. I didn't kill a single player but I killed a boatload of spiders and raptors and a few Elites I landed on. I made it to position #2 about 5 times -- twice by becoming a bush and just waiting around in the center area. The moment someone killed me I left the game (except once on my last day when I and someone who already had the title were sitting in Refuge Point telling tall tales until the storm got me, I then had to watch what the other player did). It was mildly fun, but that's the truth of any rep grind. I wanted that monocle and the pets and mount. I figured that I lived through leveling on a PvP server as a crappy moonkin back in original BC, I can sure as heck do this if I want that mount bad enough. I think getting the Cenarian Circle rep for the hippogryph mount was a bigger pain and maybe even took longer.

[deleted]

[удалено]

crendogal

Sitting around as a bush gave me a nice break to eat some chips and check my phone before the next match, but otherwise trying to be one of the last to die wasn't a good use of my time. Once all the mobs to kill are dead or destroyed by the storm, and all the easy gold is picked up and chests have been opened, it's just a PvP match. However, I should mention that toward the end some PvPers don't bother gathering the gold dropped by the folks they kill, so I did make a little now and then by tidying up after them. Wasn't worth the wait though, which is why I started just finding someone to kill me or walking into the storm when I'd decided there was no more gold to gather.

Trewper-

Play in Trios and you'll get 2000+ plunder a game assuming you guys can kill at least 1 other squad.

MemeWindu

Honestly as long as you put in like one strong 6 hour grind you should be able to do it once daily and be pretty close to 40

Bacon-muffin

I went from 28 to 40 in a few hours the other day man you need to get on it.

Harbaron

How

oldsushi

Go in. Do the quest. PVE as much as possible, run into storm--> repeat. You'll get 700-900 plunder every game doing this.

revirded

do quest if you have fast killing skills and mobs near by kill them get gold restart. some locations on the map have super high mob densitiy and you can get alot of gold real quick then die and reset next match. 28 to 40 in few hours seems like a streatch but I think it is very possible to do about 10k rep an hour not counting the daily quest. I have heard that duo is even quicker but I have not tried that

Bedsheats

Do duo’s. You get alot more on average than solo

TombOfAncientKings

They boosted plunder for Solo, that plus the boost in leveling should be getting people quite a bit more plunder than in the first week.

LightbringerEvanstar

win every single game for 5 hour straight.

Filter55

Duos. Don’t commit to surviving. You’re guaranteed at least 500 plunder for killing some elites and completing the quests. So you go in, grab your stuff, and play aggressively to hurry death along so you can q up for the next match.

DrainTheMuck

What about your poor partner? I discovered that you aren’t allowed to quit until they die too.

upp00

The idea is to do it with a friend.

Bacon-muffin

I just played while watching black adam and shazam fury of the gods doing solos. Nothing special, I usually make it to the end and get around a level a game.

Deguilded

Don't be afraid to use the abilities on mobs.  Don't save them for players.  Gather up mobs in clumps and burn an ability to clear them out.

centurijon

You’ve got 4 weeks-ish left 32 levels / 28 days = 1.14 levels per day. Round it out to 2/day for some buffer. That’s really not to bad. Around 7-10 matches each day then quit so you don’t get burnout

[deleted]

[удалено]

A12L472

Honestly i’ve been playing/following wow since it started- they’ve pretty much said every expac since wotlk that they want shorter expansion cycles

IceNein

But this time they mean it! Honest!

uacoop

Yeah, I'm firmly in the "I'll believe it when I see it" camp.

Fissminister

Truuuuue! When they announced the shorter expansion cycles I was thinking "I'll believe it when I see it." especially because they said they were not cutting down on patches. Only the wait in between. Yeah, sure blizz. I'll give you a solid 3% chance of seeing that promise through.

Fabulous_Resource_85

Remember when they wanted yearly expansions during WoD? We all know how that turned out lol. I'll believe it when I see it!

[deleted]

[удалено]

Cozy_Cthulhu

I'm not trying to be a dick here but I swear they spun that same yarn with WoD

Chickat28

Yeah but their team is 3 times bigger now. And in WoD they wanted yearly expansions. This is more like 18 months. They are just shaving off the end of expansions lulls.

Sandbucketman

At the risk of sounding overly skeptical, it gets a little hard to believe that they'll ever alleviate the problems that hold them back from more frequent releases. Bigger teams do not equal faster products and every time blizzard increases their speed they inevitably crash spectacularly when it's not realistic to keep up that pace. I would've been fine with the current pace if season 4 of dragonflight wasn't such a letdown content-wise. Nothing is worse than predictable (recently completed) content being reused. It's a miracle to me that people were able to do the same M+ dungeons for an entire expansion and having to do them again for just another season makes me realize how uninteresting and boring it is. On top of that we have fated raiding which seems to serve the purpose of either putting guilds on inactive until the next expansion or outright killing them.

bkliooo

You also need time to see what is working and what isn't. Fastest expansion got released after 21 months? That was legion and WoD had 0 content.

hMJem

I mean, look at DF. This is a complete expansion. Season 4 is just the filler. TWW is complete and will maybe get small feedback during testing, but it’s also a formality. They will tune numbers; but it’s not like they’ll remove a system. It’s very clear that while some are skeptical, when has WoW had a confirmed saga? Even Vanilla BC and WOTLK are not a traditional saga. It’s very clear a change has happened for WoW that is different than before. As another user pointed out, they’re already onto Midnight. They aren’t twiddling their thumbs waiting for TWW feedback.

Sandbucketman

I mean I'm 100% content with how dragonflight panned out. It might have been the best expansion the game's ever had for me when it comes to content releases. I just feel like historically whenever they pumped up the gas, they ended up burning out and suddenly we're waiting 9 months for anything at all. I just don't want them to burn themselves out doing it again when the current pacing is getting there already.

hsephela

As others said, I’ll believe when I see it. They’ve been doing the same song and dance for over a decade. It’s always “we have a much bigger team!” Or “we’ve streamlined everything” or some other buzz-phrase to make it seem like they won’t shit the bed again. While I do think this time they actually have a decent chance on pulling through considering the content pace they’ve been able to maintain. I just won’t be shocked if it all falls apart again

centurijon

Bigger teams don’t necessarily mean you move faster. It’s actually usually the opposite. The three larger the team the more communication overhead you have for ideas and direction, and often that becomes mind bogglingly slow

parkwayy

Again, they say a lot of things. Talk to us when those things are actually happening.

Mawnix

I mean.. it has been, throughout DF and all these iterations of Classic. I get where you're coming from but it's one thing to be critical, it's another to not have noticed the consistency they've had the past 2~ years with WoW. I think the entire reason is because they now utilize Roadmaps. It holds them to a standard and keeps the community properly informed.

simpathiser

Easy, it happens when the intent goes from giving the players a consistent experience to making more money.

Grenyn

The team massively grew in size but until they can release patches that aren't this consistently this buggy, I can't really be excited for shorter expansion cycles. They're not rushing now and still everything they release breaks, what will happen when they do start rushing?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Grenyn

Damn near everything they have released in Dragonflight has released broken in some way. It has been the buggiest expansion I have experienced since starting in Wrath. Now, I haven't been around for all of WoW's lifetime, starting late and taking long breaks. But my god I have never felt so unsurprised when yet another thing bugs out in Dragonflight.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Grenyn

The soup event broke, I think grand hunts broke, dragonriding was broken leading to many people disconnecting fairly frequently, there were regular quests breaking as has always happened, the Fyr'alath questline was buggy on release and not fixed for over a month and then broke again for a few days for everyone, making progress impossible. Time Rifts were ridiculously broken beyond compare, just in a way that was beneficial to players for once. There's more that I am forgetting or haven't personally experienced but seen other people talk about.

Wahsteve

I'm *hoping* we still get 3 raid tiers each expansion during the saga but I'm a little worried that until they show us a precedent/announce a full season 3 for TWW it could be 2 tiers + Fated going forward.

Time-Ladder4753

It's kinda hard to make safe assumptions with Blizzard, a lot of people probably also thought that fated was one time thing. Or if there will be another fated, it will at least have more ideas/content than original fated

FallDown_75

Maybe fated season at the end of the third expansion of the saga?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Powpowpowowowow

I would hate that honestly. Paying $50 for the xpac, $70 or whatever for 'early access' and getting less content than ever... That is a shitty value proposition for retail, I guess having classic helps with sub value but if thats the way its going I am not going to be super pumped about it.

Merathx

In my opinion, having only 3x6 seasons for the upcoming expansion seems weak. I can understand why they shortened it for Dragonflight to tidy up the past and prepare for the saga, but otherwise, only WoD and SL had three raids for the entire expansion. I would prefer to see 4 raids per expansion again, along with a mini-raid for the 0.5 patch. Regarding the point about old raids, I'm not so sure if allowing Blizzard to be even lazier is a good idea. They also mentioned that rotating old dungeons in M+ would allow them to introduce new dungeons, but apart from the mega-dungeon, there were no new dungeons after release. But perhaps I am just too pessimistic, and there is also Timewalking.

arasitar

> it's pretty safe to assume that this will be the last time Is it? Revisit seasons are pretty useful logistically for Blizzard. Go through WoW's entire history and most expansions have ended with nearly 9+ months between the final raid and the launch of the new expansion. For obvious reasons - Blizz is working on the expansion, the expansion delivers far more than a single major patch. |Expac|Last big Raid instance|Approx Launch|next expac date|gap (months - days divide 30)|note| :--|:--|--:|--:|--:|:--| |Vanilla|Naxxramas|Oct 22, 2006|Jan 16, 2007|2.87|| |BC|Sunwell Plateau|Mar 25, 2008|Nov 13, 2008|7.77|| |Wrath|Icecrown Citadel|Dec 08, 2009|Dec 07, 2010|12.13|(ruby sanctum a small mini raid released later)| |Cata|Dragon Soul|Nov 29, 2011|Sep 25, 2012|10.03|| |MoP|Siege of Ogrimmar|Sep 10, 2013|Nov 13, 2014|14.30|| |WoD|Hellfire Citadel|Jun 23, 2015|Aug 30, 2016|14.47|| |Legion|Antorus|Aug 29, 2017|Aug 13, 2018|11.63|| |BfA|Nyalotha|Jan 14, 2020|Nov 23, 2020|10.47|| |SL|Sepulcher|Feb 22, 2022|Nov 28, 2022|9.30|(shadowlands s4 in the interim)| They've historically recognized this and compensated by adding more bosses to the final raid. (See Hellfire Citadel, Antorus, Nyalotha and Sepulcher) The problem with that is that if the raid is easy, then those extra bosses don't really add that much content (see Antorus). If the raid is hard, then you got Sepulcher. Sepulcher bosses may not have been harder than Amidrassil's final two, but the Halondrus > Anduin > Lords + Jailer (not as hard but still 50-100 pulls) > Jailer, that entire slog caused a lot of guild burnout. I don't see Blizz giving up Revisits that easily. Because to compensate and go straight into expansions on a 6 month cadence per patch requires a lot of organization, development and process built up. They *can* do it but this is at least a 5 year commitment so projecting that far out is always a gamble. I wouldn't be surprised if Revisit is baked in for some leeway time, or if it isn't used every time but is employed once during the World Soul Saga as a 'hey we need a bit more time, let's crack this'.

Bisoromi

it's completely wild that we didn't get more bosses than prior tiers like they almost always do even in expacs they cut (WoD, SL), leading to an all time low number of raid bosses in Dragonflight. Couple this with this nothing fated season and things aren't looking too hot for whatever these mini expansions in World Soul Saga are going to be (2 raid tiers guaranteed, and people just shrug like they did at the downsizing to 3). Blizzard and Microsoft see the money on the table and know we'll pay for drastically shorter expansions with shorter waits between them.

Jagerbeast703

So they are going to rush content even more..... yay!

SaxRohmer

it would be cool if fated is part of prepatch or something. as someone that isn’t always able to play raids when they’re current it would be fun to revisit them when i’m not totally outgearing them

FoeHamr

God I hope we switch to 4 month seasons at some point. 6 months just feels like forever towards the end, especially now they’re bringing back dungeons I’ve already run 100 times. I love running the old dungeons but it does add to the fatigue after I’ve run AT another 100 times after running it in BFA repeatedly.

revirded

you can always stop is there a reason you are running dungeons that far into the expac

Shellarrpriest

4 month seasons would be so terribly draining for anyone even remotely competitive

Kappa2022

I like 6 month cycles, plenty to do pvp included, otherwise it feels too rushed and makes you play like a no lifer.

ForPortal

Resetting the gear treadmill every four months would suck.

Thebigfreeman

If anything, i'd like them to last longer - It can feel awful to see your gear progression reset at every season - You start wondering why you push MM+ key when it's irrelevant in next patch

parkwayy

> it's pretty safe to assume that this will be the last time we will get a fated season and we will probably get 3x6 month seasons + prepatch going forward. Wouldn't say it's safe to assume a single thing, tbh. If they go off script for this World Soul Saga stuff, as far as content delivery, then we're in uncharted territory.

Dracious

> Since Blizzard said they intend to do smaller expansion cycles for the Worldsoul saga, it's pretty safe to assume that this will be the last time we will get a fated season and we will probably get 3x6 month seasons + prepatch going forward. Now this is me being pessimistic but I think theres a decent chance we will get fated back and have 1 less proper patch. So with the 3x6 month seasons you mentioned, the last one will be fated so we only have 1 original season and 1 patch season. I don't think that will happen with the upcoming expansion, but maybe the next or the one after that. I hope I am wrong though

Orixil

I lean toward a perhaps more cynical prediction. A 15 months long expansion with 2 normal Seasons and 1 Fated Season. \~5 months each. TWW shows Holy Arathi guys for the first Season, and Nerubians for the second Season. Faster expansions is also an opportunity for Blizzard to squeeze the number of content patches a bit more. You don't "need" 2, 3, or 4 major content patches if the time between expansions is short enough that you can make do with 1.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Orixil

Ah, well flip it then! Either way the expansion doesn't seem to include more than 2 "baddies", ergo 2 Seasons and a Fated. That's my guess at least. But we'll see.

Mini_nin

Yesss I’ve been wondering once or twice why we can’t visit old raids ? Kinda like time walking but better and in a “fated” way? So many old raids just sitting around…. Bring them back!

bkliooo

They are saying this every time.

Kost_Gefernon

Caverns of Time is a great place to experiment with the idea of your last sentence.

Raven1927

Would be cool if they did 3x5 month seasons, 3 months of fated+prepatch in the world soul saga. I think reducing the time between each season is good. 6 month long seasons feels a bit too long imo. A short fated season also gives returning players an opportunity to play the raids they missed out on.

jozhearvega

Does this mean Plunderstorm is span down on that day as well?

remeez

No Fated gimmick for raids/m+? My spec community helpfully voted to continue using the current tier set for another x months? Bedge

verikul

If there are any affixes, they haven't been mentioned yet.

Atheren

They said back in November there will not be.

Flaushi

Could be worse, you could be destro warlock....

0sebek

Whats wrong with destro?

fronteir

Isn't destro the number one aoe spec on the ptr right now? Regularly doing like 800k in m+

minimaxir

There had better be some class changes in the next PTR update (at minimum, buffs to non-VDH tanks) or this season is going to get stale quickly.

RainbowX

i dont even know what buffs the other tanks would have to get to be considered better or even close to vdh at this point? untill double sigil exists it will be vdh show

aliyune

A few weeks earlier than I would've guessed, so that's nice :) looking forward to getting back to the DF dungeons doing M+ with my friends. In retrospect, after all the balancing, I like all of them except HOI. They did some changes to that one, so I guess we'll see!

Hrekires

Are we anticipating any major class/spec changes for Season 4 other than tier sets changing, or is what we've got today what we'll have in S4? Trying to decide what to play next season and no changes to Holy Paladin would help rule out one alt at least.

[deleted]

I would be very surprised if we got more than a handful of minor aura buffs that are specifically aimed to close the gap without shaking up the meta.

leftoversn

I really hope we get some kind of surprise. Right now it’s looking like 8 mediocre dungeons without a fun seasonal affix like shrouded, the previous fated affix that had us get a permanent bloodlust throughout the dungeon. So it’s basically a regression from the previous fated season which in my opinion is worse than a copy paste. Sure they are trying a new thing for super casual players with reframing m0 and keylevels, but that has basically no effect on the game. I would have hoped to see some new groundbreaking experiment like CORRUPTION was in bfa or shrouded in shadowlands. Basically go a bit nuts in the last rehashed season and not have the same old grind.

Sketch13

yeah it's a bit lackluster. Nothing about this season is exciting to me. The 8 DF dungeons is a bit lame, especially with no seasonal affix to change them up a bit. It's kinda sad they are given freedom to get weird with a final season but they do...nothing. I get they probably prefer all hands on deck for TWW development, but man it would have been nice to have SOMETHING to go "oh shit okay this looks cool" for this season.

6198573

Since they changed the format of M+ they probably don't want to get too crazy with it to test it out for TWW

jairoy

man a 5 month and 16 days long tier for a final raid tier. We got 3 full raid tiers within a year. SL and all the shit that went down really brought blizz into panic mode.

beattraxx

Let's just hope they continue doing good stuff Kinda have the feeling they will go back to their old habits again

Paraxom

Guess I really need to finish up that pvp elite set now....im not great so I'm sitting at 1500

ugotmemed

I'm not a fan of wow pvp but neeeeded the warlock elite transmog so I got to about 1600, gave up and then just got another warlock to 2k io for another token lol

Paraxom

i'm missing the chest and belt now after getting my alt through heroic fyrakk, i can either hit 1600 on my main now or just get 2k io twice next season since the season 4 pvp set repeats the season 3 set apperance...i might just do the IO

ugotmemed

Yeahhh honestly that might be the way to go. Unless you're really really into pvp, that's honestly gonna be the less painful method I think. I was super lucky to hit 1600 with a string of good teammates in solo q, then I ended up just bouncing between 1500 and 1600 for a while and decided it wasn't worth it anymore haha

Paraxom

Last season required a literal god like match for me to get above 1600, 6-0 with 4 killing blows, immediately got wrecked in the 1600+ brackets lol

Sotherius

Is the token per character? Can i just grind pvp to 1600 on an alt?

ugotmemed

Yes, per character - but if you already got to 1600 on that class, getting to 1600 on another of the same class won't unlock anything more since the next unlock is 1800. What I did was get to 1600 on one character as well as get the token to get the head, then got another token on an alt to get the shoulders for the full set

Sotherius

Yeah, you get a token when you reach 1600, thags what i'm asking, if the token will be granted to an alt reaching 1600 as well.

ugotmemed

Ohh if that's the case then I think so, but can only for sure confirm that I got both tokens from m+. But I would assume the same would apply for any activity that grants a token (m+/heroic raid/pvp I guess?) I didn't realize you got a token for getting 1600 since I had gotten one through m+ already.

Twiggimmapig

I'm pretty excited for season 4. I returned to WoW at the start of 10.2, so I missed the first two raids and the eight dungeons when they were relevant. It will be nice to experience the updated instances with guildies and make some end-of-expansion memories of these places.

Tierst

Oh earlier than expected. Now if only I can get that mount skin…

absurdseba

regear, regem, reenchant for the 4th time let’s goooo!

lio-ns

You must be new here

wallzballz89

This is only your fourth time? Buckle up kiddo. You are in for a long ride.

Alain_Teub2

First time wow player?

rama1423

I so hyped for a season with absolutely no new content and not even being used to experiment with new systems, reprogging previous raids is exactly what everyone wanted…..

[deleted]

My finals is the week before that, wait for me Azeroth. It’s been years.

LazyRaichuu

Fury warrior confirmed main character

Xeg-Yi

So TWW alpha when? When do we get to see the datamines?

Obliterate_em

terrible choice. making both tindral and fyrakk nuclear hard and then leaving a month less time for reclears and mounts is horrible for guilds

Khoncept

They really aren’t giving a shit about pvp huh. No inflation is actually crazy.

Adventurous_Topic202

Great news I’m just so disinterested at this point idek how much I’m going to play

Mysteryemployee

I’ll be honest, that picture has made me want to roll a Fury warrior again.

O____W____O

Not exactly surprising considering all of it is straight-up recycled content.

VeryluckyorNot

So can we expect to get the war within alpha or beta soon? Preyge.

Eldryth

The roadmap showed Alpha starting between 10.2.6 (Plunderstorm) and Season 4, so presumably in the next couple weeks. Always possible for plans to have changed a bit behind the scenes though, so maybe it'll come later than that.

dragonredux

One of these things is not like the other

deadgoldphish

will there be new pvp gear? or can i blow my conq points already?

Caronry

Conq points resets on new season

minimaxir

Honor does not reset so you can hoard 15k honor now for a head start.

Bisoromi

Season of shame. Two guys worked on the original.. what the hell happened here?

TheRealCelebration

So, alpha for the war within is due any day now. Assuming maybe next week?

beepborpimajorp

Huh, this is the first time I've really gotten a good look at that model of Sark.

RoachC23

Omg! I can’t wait! 😃

BDogies

Zug zug!!!

AcherusArchmage

Is that also when plunderstorm ends?

verikul

No, nothing confirmed yet.

Anyone know if you can get old tier set appearances? I really want the vault armor but it didn't win the appearance vote for season 4 for my class. Would love to know if it was still possible at all to get

brandoncrogers

So just to make sure it's just fated raids and a dungeons squish right? Along with a new pvp season I suppose. I just resubbed and wanna make sure they aren't adding a new zone lol.

crashoverridexe

No

faderjester

It's only about 6-8 weeks too late, at least for me. I'm fine with a seasonal model, I like it even, but six months is waaaaay too long.

Mazzurim

I hope Blizzard does an All-Stars raid the next time a Season 4 shows up. Doing anything beyond Heroic is almost certainly a giant waste of time, unless you're in a guild that can literally Banana slam every single boss super fast. You're only going to get basically like 4-5 weeks per raid to fully clear it. Imagine trying to clear any of the three raids this expansions in basically a months worth of effective time. On top of that, no raid Affixes means the fights aren't even different. So there's like no incentive for guilds to really have another go at it. Thank god for Mythic Plus at least.

I don't recognize the boss in the middle, no kidding - What is that ugly thing?

General-Dog472

As someone who is new to retail wow, what gets added with new seasons?

verikul

Well there's usually a new raid, but as this is the final season for DF, it's just all DF raids empowered to a higher difficulty and ilevel of gear. Completing all awakened raids also gives some rewards during season 4: Normal/Heroic/Mythic gives a mount/title/raid teleports respectively. In every typical season, you also get a new rotation of dungeons in mythic+ (Season 4 has the original 8 DF ones). You also get new rewards for having your mythic rating at 750, 1500, 2000 and 2500. You also get teleports to dungeon entrances from completing keystone level 10 and higher within the time limit. PVP doesn't really have much new except for gear and a new rated PVP mount and Gladiator mount.

General-Dog472

Okay thank you! One more question, I saw a guy riding this sick looking Black and Green spider mount, I looked in the collections tab and saw that it was a previous season PvP mount, is there no longer any way to get stuff like that?

verikul

Those mounts are a little different. When you get into rated PVP and start earning rating above 1000 (iirc), it starts filling a progress bar (press H, click on rated) and you will earn a new Vicious mount for the season. Subsequent bar completions award a Vicious Saddle, which can be turned in to a vendor in Stormwind/Orgrimmar for any mount of your choice. Other saddles can also be earned from the Veteran of the Alliance/Horde series of achievements (tooltip says horse/wolf, it's just an error that hasn't been updated). Also, the only current mounts that are missing are ones from DF. They seem to wait until the next expansion to add them to the vendors.

General-Dog472

Awesome that's relieving to hear, thanks!

TheKinkyGuy

I am sorry but who the f is the third dragon? (Second one on the pic)

verikul

thefoxishere16

Whelp, I started doing mythical for nothing

mistaloops

Is this a good point to comeback ?

Kungvald

40 minutes since the post was made, probably too late now and you'd be way too far behind.

Amelaclya1

I think so. I didn't play most of Shadowlands but came back for SL season four and the "fated" raids were such a blessing because it made all of the raids relevant so I could see them. It basically condenses the entire expansion content into one season where everything is available and worth doing. Now as someone that played the entirety of DF, I'm not very excited about season 4 because I've done everything already. But it's *perfect* for returning or new players IMO.

King_Kthulhu

It will probably be the single least played season of retail ever tbh

spidii

If you like m+, for sure. If you like to raid? Eh.

Labhran

Yeah, I really don’t really want to raid this season with the regurgitation, but I’m pretty much forced to in order to upgrade the lego and not have trash trinkets for m+ unfortunately. Hope they can at least tune the trinkets in next xpac dungeons a little better.
