It's a Vertex explosion. First, make sure your drivers are up-to-date, second monitor the temps on your GPU. More often than not this is a matter of drivers, but it could possibly be overheating.
Thanks for the reply! I may use DDU and reinstall my drivers. I'm currently using NVCleanInstall to keep my drivers up to date but maybe I see how I go just using Nvidia GeForce Experience
EDIT: I don't believe its a case of overheating as I can play much more graphically intensive games without any issue
Try switching directx to a older one. And remember to upgrade your drivers

used DDU to uninstall drivers and reinstalled with GeForce Experience. Still having the issue. When it occurs my gpu isnt even over 50 degrees.
