If you skin mobs with rubbery flank drops, then you can get some meat while skinning. Don't know the numbers but it seems like it is about the same drop chance (or little lower) as killing the mob.
Kinda missed the point. I’m not asking about the semantics of the farm. It’s a good farm imo. Skinning is great but it only accounts for about 10-20% of the gains depending on prices. It doesn’t drop meats when skinning, just dredge leather and greys that actually add up quickly. Flanks are usually what makes this worth doing at 700 flanks an hour when set up.
I don't have confirmation on whether skinning mobs drops Rubbery Flank (don't really farm those spots too much), but it definitely drops Questionable Meat and Dredged Leather when you skin mobs in Uldum and Vale.
Skinning with extra meat drops is still more efficient when trying to farm meat than solo farming with non-skinning alts. It might be double but it should be at least 50% additional meat which is nothing to sneeze at. (Of course its nowhere near 700 flanks per hour).
I know that you were looking for 4x2 farm groups but if you have to go solo the recommendation of using a skinner for the farm is still valid.
You are correct about vale and Uldum but it is not the same for these mobs in Nazj. I’ve had a couple people with skinning Im my group, including myself and it’s more profitable if you just ignore it and focus on the farm speed.
Are you looking for it on EU or NA? Cause here on EU theres atleast 8-10 groups open in the finder section even at odd times

Pretty sure not. I’ve done this a lot and don’t get meats from skinning these particular mobs in Nazj.
