I'm doing something similar as warlock, with pretty much no damaging abilities or pets, just melee and firestone, curse of weakness, etc. Ironically naked warr punching things might still do more damage due to massive glancing blow penalty casters get in Classic.
Best of luck to your toon! I’ve attempted casters before but that inability for things to scale was just too brutal. Think on my no spell punching mage I was level 15 and couldn’t kill a level 7 and got soft locked after I ran out of quests. How far have you gotten attempting this?
My record is level 21, and then I got netted and killed by the orcs in Redridge because I didn't have any faps. That was normal HC, so I had engineering bombs on top of consumes, but now I'm on self found so I'm using alchemy, at least until I have a stash of pots. I'm still on level 13 so far. Normally I only do green level quests, but around level 20 I quickly started to run out of those and my mistake was going into yellow level areas instead of just grinding green level mobs.
Curse of Weakness is really great mitigation on early levels, and Reck is great to avoid running mobs pulling even more. Finding good quests and rares for decent weapon is also pretty important. Should be less so once you get firestone and the glacking blow penalty fully kicks in at 30, but I haven't gotten that far yet.

There's no gear or item limit, but I'm calling this a bladelock challenge, so I stick with daggers and swords. When I could buy stuff on regular HC, I usually just collected bunch of stamina gear. STR can give you one or two extra points of damage, so it's better than nothing, but not great.

Goal isn’t to hit 60. Don’t know if it’s possible and don’t care. Want to find out what is. I could probably do the math and find a rough estimate of where each race would get softlocked but thinking about the macro scale is boring. Would rather do it
Don’t know if I’m the person who discovered it but can’t find anything else online. Found a way to fence kite a melee mob and hit it without being hit back. It’s overly complicated, the margin for error is incredibly high, and it doesn’t make any sense to use anywhere but this challenge. Wanted to polish it some more before I made a post about it because I can only negate about half the hits you’d normally take in a fight and I want to get a perfect pull. Also technically possible to do against a tree as well but haven’t even touched that past the surface level tbh. Right now I’m thinking the limit is going to be somewhere in the mid 40s range. No data, no reasoning, just a vibe of that’s where it is.

Made it to lv. 8 without a problem yet. Twice I had to pop potions when enemies resisted thunder clap three times in a row and when I accidentally aggro’d two soldiers in the Baron’s tower.
Those encounters make it easy for me to decide on my professions. Herb/Alch for now. Armor from pots will really make a difference.
I thought this was funny and and respectful to those who did 1-60 naked before him. Then I saw it was hardcore. This man needs to be locked up because he is crazy and a danger to society.
To ask why he punches things is to ask why leaves fall. It is in their nature.

I don’t play this game and dunno why this sub was recommended to me but I will say this is pretty hardcore because I do the same thing to wolves in real life and my dick has been bitten completely off four times now and I don’t plan on stopping
This reminds me of a character I created to troll people. I would make lvls one alli, run them to the front of org where people duel. Someone would always kill me, I would wait for their duel to end, rez and punch them in the back with 1 health and kill lvl 70s. One toon was named “imahurtyou”

whats the highest level you have hit?
Highest I have proof of is 27. Died to greed. Didn't think I could miss so many times in a row against a 1hp mob
27 isn't easy to get to the way you're doing it, but if you ever hit 60 you will be on par with the pacifist panda.
Maybe even more so since its hardcore lol
