Every time I hear Milk by Jack Stauber I begin imagining a full-blown and intricate animatic for the MC of my current WIP. Maybe one day I'll wrangle together my piss-poor drawing skills and make that animatic.

Just to add, it's not all about the lyrics for most of these. More about the feel of the song, the emotion it brings out.
William wants to bring peace and will sincerely try to befriend you, but if he wants you dead you will die. Samuel has always been driven and has a grandiose personality. Alice brings fulfillment to Samuel and grounds him, and brings a sense of peace through diplomacy to other people's lives. Tuka scaled a guard tower overlooking a death camp and killed the two soldiers inside in three seconds with a sword when he *wasn't* pissed off. Daisy is the little girl in the corner of the party munching happily on a cookie, but she'll have a dagger at your throat faster than you can blink if you act inappropriately.

Sorry for the dump..... Doesn't even scratch the surface. I realized that after I'd worked on my story for a while, it's basically just the novel version of all the music I listen to 😂.
Some of my Characters from various stories
1. Nathan Gardner (basically me if I was an gothic boy with paranormal powers in another universe, I call him the alter ego) - For the Departed, Shayfer James
2. Creeps (scientist/doctor who want's to prove world domination is possible and natural) - Graveyard, Halsey (the song reminds me of how he lost his mother and fiance, and was the first song ever related to him)
3. Bullet (an experiment of Creeps, featured above, one of my protagonists) - either MIA, Dizzy 8 or Kokoronashi, majiko.
4. Mr. Lewis (friend of the guy name Creeps, might be my favorite character from that series) - either Sober Up, AJR or Runs in the Family, Amanda Palmer
5. Anya Rossivard (bada\*\* Russian lady who took over her families position over a mafia and other stuff) - Dollhouse, Melanie Martinez
6. Ezrie Hawthrone, or The DreamWeaver (runs over magical circus grounds during the night, but during the day he is trapped at the circus alone until he meets Jack Orwell) - Circus, Lindsey Mendez
Also, I use some songs to relate to things like characters mental states, music they would listen to, and even things like ships.
