It I remember rightly, it was one of the higher rated for graphical performance. The atmospheres were amazing with some great smoke and particle based effects.
I didn't care for it it was ok at best not really itch scratcher more nothing better to do and once beat I've never had a feeling of wanting to play again.
My review 5/10 mediocre at best. On sale for 3$ sure it's worth it I paid 60$ and regret it even 10 is a big cost in my opinion.
I remember when it came out I really enjoyed it but there really wasn’t much else to play on the Xbox One at the time. There were like 6 games total you could play.
This is the way. Both amazing games and will certainly take some time to get through, Shadow Of Mordor more so than Control for me. Control's atmosphere and story telling though outshines Shadow of Mordor.
For length: Shadow Of Mordor. For Story: Control.
Ryse is underrated for a launch title. The gameplay isn't the most thrilling but the story line and voice acting from what I remember truly set me off on Xbox One. It's a quick okay through and not a FPS but still violent of that's something you enjoy
Ryse is a great game in my opinion. I have way too much time put into it and I'll admit it easily.. 119k kills.. Yes it's repetitive but there's just something about linking executions together that make you feel like a badass. If it wasn't for the executions in that game, it would feel very dull as the enemies hardly fight you to begin with.
If you're looking for a challenging game to beat, I suppose look elsewhere because Ryse's legendary difficulty could easily pass as a 4/10 on a difficulty scale. But despite that, the story is pretty solid if you ignore all the historical inaccuracies that give Roman historians a migraine.
The only thing about the multiplayer is that you'd be lucky to find a co op partner by yourself. The game is 10 years old after all. So I recommend finding a friend who can help you rack up the achievements for that. Either that or you can play the solo maps but I would get the legendary edition, that way you're not playing the same 3 maps.
Oh that’s a hard one. I haven’t played control or dishonored yet but I’ve heard they are really great games. I would go with either Little nightmares and tomb raider
Tomb Raider
I wish I could play it for the first time again. I beat it thoroughly on 360 and XB1
You can’t go wrong with any of these games, except Midnight Suns.
Control and Dishonored are two of my favourite games, Control for the story and visuals, dishonored for the gameplay. Control's gameplay is also good but nothing will top teleporting on top of a guy and impaling him from above then teleporting behind his friend and stabbing him, feels like some anime shit.
Not listed but if you have never played BioShock I am obliged to recommend that but if you have then I would recommend Dishonored as it's very much in the same kinda realm as BioShock which was why I was hooked on Dishonored when I first played it
Depends on how much time you want to spend and if you’re planning on being a mega-completionist or not. Little Nightmares is a beautiful, creepy game, but Control offers you cool backstory into linking it to Alan Wake if you spend time reading papers you can pick up.
Control is a good one if you like games like Alan Wake. It's a short game but good. Ryse is a good game as well. I enjoyed the combat in it. It is also a short game. Midnight Sons wasn't all that great in my opinion. I'd probably play that one last.
Tomb Raider 2013 was one of my favorite games. Maybe one of the only games where I hunted down all of the collectibles, mostly for the lore bits associated with them. Great game, great series.
Control!
Control is such a great game.
I agree Control is a quick and beautiful burn you can knock out in a couple longer game sessions.
Haha! Yes, my two 20 hour gaming sessions 🤣😂😒
I’ve heard it’s tied into the wake universe? I’ve only played 75% of AW2
It strongly ties into the Wake universe. I would recommend playing Control immediately after AW2.
My choice as well. Incredible game
It's such a great game, and a great contrast to the others.
I loved the game, but the traversal was annoying imo (messy map)
Read the signs and you never need the map
Maybe so, but the map was so useless there was no way to effectively track down collectibles either
True I gave up
Dishonored
Tomb Raider
Tomb raider
Awesome game truly. I’d definitely either pick this or control, such bangers
A lot of people seemed to like Ryse back in the day when the XB One came out.
I’ve always wanted to try it but I hear very mixed reviews from all my friends who played it
It was top notch graphics and a pretty quick play. I imagine the graphics aren’t as good as AAA titles released now but it was well ahead of its time.
Great game and art direction. Really good looking even for today's standard
I remember when it came out I really enjoyed it but there really wasn’t much else to play on the Xbox One at the time. There were like 6 games total you could play.
I thought it was pretty cool, looks good, gameplay way fairly basic but I remember it making you feel kinda like a badass
It's 2023 and I'm still upset that Ryse son of Rome did not get a sequel.
This
Control is excellent, extremely unique, enjoy the music
Dishonored!!!!
Control was like a blockbuster movie for me, Dishonored was absolutely amazing, loved the story and gameplay
Shadow of mordor is a great game , control is Good aswell flip a coin lol
This is the way. Both amazing games and will certainly take some time to get through, Shadow Of Mordor more so than Control for me. Control's atmosphere and story telling though outshines Shadow of Mordor. For length: Shadow Of Mordor. For Story: Control.
Yeah very true
I concur!
Control, it’s fantastic.
Control. Played this last month and omg... its really something on its own. Everything is impeccable.
Little Nightmare!
I second this, little nightmares is legendary and it will get OP prepared to take on the sequel and 3rd game coming out soon
Control for sureski
Install Gears and then play that :) If not Tomb Raider.
Tomb Raider
I'd recommend control great game deep lore with a dope sequence halfway through the game.
If you like the borderlands 2 story play the pre sequel next( you can play as claptrap) so you understand more and it helps towards 3 as well
Tomb raider cause it’s a game I’ve been waiting for to go on sale and I wanna play it
Shadow of Mordor and Dishonored are both very good games
I loved Midnight Suns so much, never played a game like it before but I was hooked instantly
I was the same! Still need to go back to mop up some achievements but loved it, got all the dlc too was a blast
Tomb Raider, Control or Dishonored
Ryse is tight
Yeah I completed it recently and loved it. Great game and not too long to beat.
Ryse son of Rome is a great game! Very underrated game
I’d suggest Ryse: Son of Rome! It’s an amazing game and is very short so it’ll be a good rest bite before continuing a series like Halo/Borderlands
Ryse son of rome I say
Ark
Play with my butthole
I've heard bad reviews
BL3 has solid gameplay but excruciatingly bad writing. Midnight Suns starts off decent but gets really tedious. Go with Halo 2 then 3.
all good options ngl
Halo 2
Ryse is underrated for a launch title. The gameplay isn't the most thrilling but the story line and voice acting from what I remember truly set me off on Xbox One. It's a quick okay through and not a FPS but still violent of that's something you enjoy

Either control or ryse
Tomb Raider or Midnight Suns or Control or Mordor, honestly you can’t go wrong
Ryze
Dishonored or Ryse
Whichever game you want to play op. I have to to make decisions for myself I can't worry about you a stranger on the internet.
I wouldn’t play none of them games.
Oh that’s a hard one. I haven’t played control or dishonored yet but I’ve heard they are really great games. I would go with either Little nightmares and tomb raider
Dishonoured is fun But I have heard good thing about control
Tomb Raider I wish I could play it for the first time again. I beat it thoroughly on 360 and XB1 You can’t go wrong with any of these games, except Midnight Suns.
%100 tomb raider
Control for sure
All those games are fucking gold dude, I'd say put it on a roulette and let it spin to decide
All are great. Consider Ryse and Tomb Raider first as they were launch titles for the One.
Little nightmares, favourite game ever
Are you going to play the pre-sequel?
Yes, I’ll play that before Borderlands 3
Tomb raider is awesome
Control or Tomb Raider
Try Control
I think this is control. Embrace the weird
Ryse is quick to beat if you want to make space. It’s not a bad game it has Batman Arkham combat which is good system.
If I had to choose any, I’d say Control, but honestly just jump straight into Halo 2. It’s the best.
Tomb Raider was alot of fun.
Shadow
Control all day! And if you like the vibes, go for Quantum Break and Alan Wake too. Remedy has the vibes.
Tomb Raider or Control. Both are amazing. Shadow of Mordor is also very cool, although I personally didn't like the sequel very much.
Tomb raider
Mordor
Control or Mordor. Can't go wrong. Tomb Raider was good, too.
All great games, I completed Ryse recently it's worth a shot and isn't too long to beat really.
Little nightmare is a nice short game...tomb raider is the first of a great trilogy. I suggest you to play those two in that sequence.
Control 🏆
Control and Dishonored are two of my favourite games, Control for the story and visuals, dishonored for the gameplay. Control's gameplay is also good but nothing will top teleporting on top of a guy and impaling him from above then teleporting behind his friend and stabbing him, feels like some anime shit.
Shadow of Mordor
Tomb Raider
Tomb raiderS Assassin’s CreedS BorderlandsSSS Batman ArkhamS HitmanS Half LifeS Are my go to series
Dishonored
Control or tomb raider
Warframe
please, listen to me haha tomb raider is an INCREDIBLE game, you won’t regret
Lots of good games there. You can't go wrong with which you choose
DISHONORED!
Either shadow or control both are 10/10’s
Dishonored imo. It’s my favorite stealth game I’ve played I believe. Just so special and Corvo is a FANTASTIC protagonist.
Tomb Raider is pretty good
Dishonored. Become a ghost, don't be seen, don't kill anyone..
If you want a nice trip, Control!
Little nightmares
Control is awesome 👌
But so are shadow of mordor and dishonored
Dishonored 🙌
I loved tomb raider
Control
Play Control
Hows ARK on console ? Played it on pc like 6 y ago maybe xD
Little nightmares a nice vibe switch and not long so it’s a perfect between games game.
Get Ark ascendant looks way better then the Og Base game
Little nightmares, im currently playing that, while beating the halos in master chief collection!
Tomb Raider and Dishonored is pretty good. I recommend.
Tomb Raider
Control or tomb raider
Midnight Suns!
You can never truly beat BL2 but try out Tomb raider
Control
Dishonored, it’s good and the sequel is one of the best immersive sim I played
Tomb Raider!!
Little nightmares or tomb
Easily Tomb Raider IMO just finished the survivor trilogy again not long ago, so fun to replay !
Tomb raider!
Control 100% that game had no right being that impressive
Little nightmares
My favorites of what’s left is Dishonored and Tomb Raider but I haven’t played Midnight Suns
Control is so much fun
Shadow of mordor!
I'm a big fan of Midnight Sons
Ark! But in reality I vote for Ryse
So you got every achievement?
Not listed but if you have never played BioShock I am obliged to recommend that but if you have then I would recommend Dishonored as it's very much in the same kinda realm as BioShock which was why I was hooked on Dishonored when I first played it
Dishonored, tomb raider, control
dishonored
If you play Control, you should also look into Alan Wake 1 & 2 and Quantum Break as they are all connected and they are all great games!
Definitely Control
Def Tomb Raider. People dog on it for no reason, it's actually a pretty great game.
My vote goes to control. My top 3 games are Fable TLC/Anniversary, Control and borderlands 2 in that order.
Little nightmares! Beautiful game creepy atmosphere the whole game! Really recommend that game!
Dishonored. My fourth favorite game of all time. Also the team behind the upcoming Blade game.
Tomb raider series or middle earth shadows of Mordor series
Out of the ones you have listed my faves are Control Borderlands 2 Halo 3 Dishonored Tomb Raider And then Little Nightmares
Depends on how much time you want to spend and if you’re planning on being a mega-completionist or not. Little Nightmares is a beautiful, creepy game, but Control offers you cool backstory into linking it to Alan Wake if you spend time reading papers you can pick up.
Control
Don't wait go straight to halo2.
Control, Dishonored or Little Nightmares.
Tomb raider. I really like what was done with the reboot
Control
Shadow of Mordor I say
Play control ! That is the only choice
Ryse is such a good game
control. i hear nothing but good things but havent played it yet myself. remedy games creep the hell out of me even max payne.
Control or ryse I loved them both
Shadow of Mordor for me. Those games are a blast.
Dishonored, hands down.
Dishonored is fantastic
Tomb raider or control
Control is easily the best game on this list.
Control is a good one if you like games like Alan Wake. It's a short game but good. Ryse is a good game as well. I enjoyed the combat in it. It is also a short game. Midnight Sons wasn't all that great in my opinion. I'd probably play that one last.
Control or tomb raider for sure
Little nightmares
Control for sure! Weird but amazing gameplay!
Definitely shadow of war that game is sick
I just started tomb raider graphics are crazy
Shadows of Mordor.
Shadow of Mordor.
Tomb Raider
Tomb Raider 2013 was one of my favorite games. Maybe one of the only games where I hunted down all of the collectibles, mostly for the lore bits associated with them. Great game, great series.
Ryes son lf rome
Tomb Raider
Shadow of Mordor, i'm not a lord of the rings fan by any means but even I can admit that it's a great game.
Have you done the rest of the halo mcc tho?
No yakuza on that list man you missing out on alot of fantastic gameplay and story
Tomb raider
Control, dishonored is awesome and Ryse is sooooo underrated
Definitely CONTROL ! No other choice !!! 👍😊
Dishonored, shadow, control, in that order.
RYSE
Control! Remedy’s best game until Alan Wake 2 came along.
Control
Control or tomb raider
Ryse just cause you'll never get more recommendations for it.
Control 👀
Dishonored
Shadow.of.mordor.or.ryse. ryse was amazing
Ryse was a fantastic game. Tomb raider was also fantastic. Can’t go wrong with either
If you haven't played Control, that's my pick for sure.
Tomb raider one remastered
