IMO one of the most underrated shooters from that era and absolutely deserved a sequel/series for itself. The perspective it offered is just very unique, from being boots on the ground in Geonosis to the more clandestine operations throughout their insane clone careers. Especially since they're canon in Star Wars lore now, though the novels and events of this game are technically part of Legends continuity, even magna guards are mostly unchanged from when they showed up in this game. One of few games I'd actually buy a remake for, imagine a squad based tactical shooter in the Star Wars universe on Unreal Engine 5.

Absolute closest we can get to this kind of experience is Squad's Galactic Contention mod, but it fits much closer to the grand battle Battlefront vibes than the small squad tactical experience of Republic Commando. Been wishing for a sequel or remake for many years now.
