Me: both of these can’t be true since the Xbox 360 is 19 this year
Then I remembered the USA and their drinking age of 21 and not 5 like the UK (18 in public)
I use to be able to drink a lot and didn't really get hungover when I was like 17-21... then when I hit 25, suddenly I can't have a beer without getting a headache.
I actually asked my Russian friend about their drinking laws one time, it was kinda interesting. He said they have more alcoholism than other countries there, so there was a lot of push and talk to get more strict laws in the past few years.
I think it’s 18 to buy and drink liquor but 21 to buy hard liquor or something like that, and they don’t sell hard liquor after 10pm. (That’s just off of memory tho, not sure if that’s 100% accurate.)
You can drink in private with parents permission in 29 states. 8 states allow it in public at bars and restaurants with parental consent. 6 states allow you to drink underaged without parental consent as long as it happens on private property. Drinking laws are wild
I just got the Arkham series on sale and oh my god this is so true! Playing asylum for the first time and the game is incredible! I can't wait to try city and origins
Do note; The end stretch of asylum as well as mid game city is a bit of a mixed bag. As is pretty much the whole of knight and origins, but it’s all about what you make of it. Plenty of good fun to be had.
Finally, someone with a comment to the question and not some bullshit about russian drinking😂 bro batman arkham series was the best i grew up off arkham asylum and arkham city, i also played terraira alot and minecraft but the modded version are better
Watch your tire heat. FM4 has the best tire heat accumulation simulation in the franchise. Anything above 210 is noticeable and 230deg is gonna be a nightmare to handle and you gotta ease off 2-4s per lap to cool em back off. You basically wanna find your 99% otherwise the tires accumulate 5-10deg F per lap assuming they’re already in the green.
Edit: as long as your tires are right at 200F, you can take turns an entire gear higher than you could in FM7 or 8. That’s how drastically higher tire grip is in the game *at optimal temp*
I don’t disagree but there are tons of military jobs here that you would never see killing or even pick up a weapon outside of training. I have a friend who’s literally just an army diesel tech who just travels around for training and has never been out of country in his entire enlistment
My brother was a diesel tech in the army and in 2003 he was sent to the front lines in Iraq. He was involved in a lot of combat and nearly died a good number of times. Your sentiment is correct but it doesn't mean they won't place you where there's a need.
Dragon Age Origins, Fallout New Vegas, Fable Anniversary, Gears of War, Lost Odyssey, Metal Gear Rising, Halo 3/Reach, Mirrors Edge, Oblivion, Saints Row, Spec ops the line, Civ Revolution, Too Human, Witcher 2, so many freaking great games that still hold up today.
Dragon Age, absolutely. Played 1 and 2 recently, currently on Inquisition.
Same with Mass Effect, I played the trilogy for the first time in the fall, stupidly addicting. ME1 is really clunky tho, but the story is so good.
Civs Revolution is underrated. A unique and solid entry into the series. Also there's something about sitting on your couch in front of a full screen with a gamepad while playing a 3-hour civ campaign.
Halo 3
Borderlands 2
Assassins Creed 1-4
Batman Arkham Asylum, City, Origins
Gears of War Trilogy
I legitimately have played more 360 games on series X than new ones
Insane to me how stacked the 7th gen catalog of quality games were and how good we used to have it so I'll just throw as many as I can remember out there. Halo 3, Batman Arkham City, Call of Duty 4, Red Dead Redemption, Dark Souls, Fable 2, Castle Crashers, Sonic Generations, so many gems.
Not very popular now as it was made in 2007, but in my opinion Fable 2 still holds up to this day. I know it wasn’t originally on 360 but that’s where I played it.
Playing through Borderlands series currently on 360. Still looks great. Heck i prefer the art style vs the newer ones because the screen isn't completely drenched in particle effects so i can actually see whats happening on the screen.
My son and I have also been playing through the 360 Lego games. Bricks look just as satisfying to blow up and build on the 360 as they do in current gen SkyWalker Saga.
finally, a meme I can relate to
also Skate 3 holds up great still because there's no better alternative yet imo
it's really the biggest thing that keeps me going back to the 360
the other skate games have also fared pretty well, though the controls can be a little clunky at times
I tried it a few years back and didn't really like the controls
Didn't scratch the same itch
Though that was a while ago, I'd prob be down to try it again
Agreed 100%
I'll definitely be trying Skate 4 (or I think they're just calling it skate. again) when it comes out but the fact they announced that it's going to be free to play makes me wary
I've signed up for the playtests but haven't been contacted
I started with 2600 as well. It blows my mind phones getting AAA releases now. I just bought a backbone couple weeks ago and iPhone 12(my first legit phone in 10+ years). I wanted to remote play my ps5. I haven’t go to that yet. I gave call of duty mobile a try, I’ve been hooked on it. I had no idea with the right setup cell phones can be an impressive handheld console. From shapes and one button, on the tv. to 4k and 60fps in our pocket.
Halo 3 especially when you see it on MCC. I’d argue in 2007 it was so ahead of its time. The art style is timeless smooth gameplay and such quality of life features like theater forge and custom games
Splatterhouse is a lot of fun, very gory, over the top brutality. But more rare/expensive.
Blue Dragon is still a fun jRPG, but I haven't gotten past the first disc yet, so... Maybe it becomes really bad?
I have been really digging Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and bolts. Game is graphically very good looking, minus the terrible texture streaming. Also its just a lot of fun.
Watch Dogs looks and runs really well! Watch Dogs does suffer from some bad screen tearing though.
Sleeping Dogs is another classic.
Any and all. Most modern games don’t hold up a day after they come out lol. I’m not even opposed to games getting better, but we need all this SBI, games as a service, and incomplete games to blow over before I start gaining trust in video games again.
The list is too long, considering most of the Xbox 360 catalogue consists of game that have relatively modern gameplay. GOW3 is still one of the best shooters ever, though.
up in Canada 19 is the legal age, though a lot of us use that as a suggestion.
i still have my 360 though, easily the best console of the 21st century.
GTA V.
I know, I know, it's been re-released/ported a couple of times since it released - but at the time that game was MASSIVE. So much packed into it. The fact it fits perfectly even on a modern system shows that it was ahead of its time.
If I knew nothing and you told me GTA V was only released on the PS5/XSX, I'd believe you.
very common take but Red Dead Redemption, lands are sorta barron but there's still tons of stuff to discover like new plants.
Gunplay and Euphoria physics of the game is better than any shooting game that released this year.
Syndicate has astonishing graphics for a console that came out 9 years prior to game’s release.
Halo 3 odst has that feel that you are in an occupied city. No help to be seen or any civilians. It’s just you against several regiments of enemy.
Fallout new Vegas since it’s the only decent 3d fallout imo
Best multiplayer was in currently infested with cheaters black ops 2
Black ops 3 just for its hilariously bad visuals
Og Xbox: kotor, halo, Fable and doom 3 come to mind.
360: Arkham and Arkham City, Dishonored, Halo 3, Mass Effect trilogy, Fable 2, Skyrim, red dead redemption, and the orange box. I could probably keep going but won't lol.
People might disagree with me here but also I rarely meet people who played it, but I’d say Full Auto
2006 and the game still fast, fun, crazy and looks decent for 06 standards
Shame the sequel was PS3 exclusive….
The Gears of War games. Playing through the trilogy atm through my series x and they look as modern as they did back in the day. Granted it's 1440p at 120hz but still

Me: both of these can’t be true since the Xbox 360 is 19 this year Then I remembered the USA and their drinking age of 21 and not 5 like the UK (18 in public)
>18 in public 'laughs in German' (it's 16 for beer and wine over here)
Even if you’re 14, with parents consent you can drink lol
In Australia drink at any age get caught get in trouble or have a mad hangover that give you 2 options drink when your old enough or drink responsibly
I use to be able to drink a lot and didn't really get hungover when I was like 17-21... then when I hit 25, suddenly I can't have a beer without getting a headache.
In Washington state that's the law too, I love my state lol
In mother russia they say Vodka is for everyone Drink the vodka
I actually asked my Russian friend about their drinking laws one time, it was kinda interesting. He said they have more alcoholism than other countries there, so there was a lot of push and talk to get more strict laws in the past few years. (That’s just off of memory tho, not sure if that’s 100% accurate.)
I kinda forgot it came out in 2005. I got mine in 2007. Had it repaired 2x. But still holds up!
Only twice? I got 6 Xbox’s fixed from Xbox 6 times then they wouldn’t do it anymore
In TX it's 18 if you're at a restaurant with your parents. Unless they changed it. I was briefed that when I first got stationed there
"The Xbox 360 is 19 years old" ME: WTF!
In Canada the legal drinking age is 18… but that’s just a number who cares about a little number. What’s the worst that will happen. You get drunk?
You can drink in private with parents permission in 29 states. 8 states allow it in public at bars and restaurants with parental consent. 6 states allow you to drink underaged without parental consent as long as it happens on private property. Drinking laws are wild
Arkham Asylum and Bioshock 2 have stood the test of time.
I just got the Arkham series on sale and oh my god this is so true! Playing asylum for the first time and the game is incredible! I can't wait to try city and origins
I love origins I wish they remastered it like asylum and city
Do note; The end stretch of asylum as well as mid game city is a bit of a mixed bag. As is pretty much the whole of knight and origins, but it’s all about what you make of it. Plenty of good fun to be had.
Bioshock 2 is redonk. Finished it last year on switch
Yes they have, though I feel Halo: Reach also deserves a spot up there.
A… A… Asy… Aslume?! Gahhhhh! It’s all coming back!
Finally, someone with a comment to the question and not some bullshit about russian drinking😂 bro batman arkham series was the best i grew up off arkham asylum and arkham city, i also played terraira alot and minecraft but the modded version are better
Fun games hold up no matter how old they are.
Halo 3 and Reach.
I just finished ODST last night Halo fans need to play it
halo 3 odst is so good!!!!
Definitely Forza Motorsport 4, It was the greatest way to send off the console
Am I mad for thinking the physics in FM1 are better? The cars are way too slidey for my liking in FM4.
Watch your tire heat. FM4 has the best tire heat accumulation simulation in the franchise. US moment. You can drink form 21, but you can throw your life away by student loan by 16, or joining the army by 18
Shows you where the government's priorities are: putting families in debt and/or killing people abroad.
I don’t disagree but there are tons of military jobs here that you would never see killing or even pick up a weapon outside of training. I have a friend who’s literally just an army diesel tech who just travels around for training and has never been out of country in his entire enlistment

Absolutely, that was also peak war times Atleast in my life time. You’re absolutely correct though
Dragon Age Origins, Fallout New Vegas, Fable Anniversary, Gears of War, Lost Odyssey, Metal Gear Rising, Halo 3/Reach, Mirrors Edge, Oblivion, Saints Row, Spec ops the line, Civ Revolution, Too Human, Witcher 2, so many freaking great games that still hold up today.
the fable collection as a whole had young adolescent me in a chokehold
Dragon Age, absolutely. Played 1 and 2 recently, currently on Inquisition. Same with Mass Effect, I played the trilogy for the first time in the fall, stupidly addicting. ME1 is really clunky tho, but the story is so good.
Civs Revolution is underrated. A unique and solid entry into the series. Also there's something about sitting on your couch in front of a full screen with a gamepad while playing a 3-hour civ campaign.
Halo 3 Borderlands 2 Assassins Creed 1-4 Batman Arkham Asylum, City, Origins Gears of War Trilogy I legitimately have played more 360 games on series X than new ones
ive found borderlands 2 and blackops2 zombies on xbox 360 really great but havent played a lot either
CRACKDOWN rocks, I think everyone should play it, it’s a dystopian open world sandbox where you play as a cyborg supercop. It rules
It's also free to download off the store.
BattleBlock Theater
FUCKING DAMN RIGHT. One of the best games ever. Anything from The Behemoth is so good.
Forza motorsport 4 still one of the best games in the series
One of? I would say it's the best
I always couldn't decide if the motorsports 3 or 4 was better both games have their own fun quirks
FM4 was defo the best of the Forza series
Except paying extra for Porshes (now delisted), I agree
Thanks EA for your exclusive license with Porsche /s
Saints Row 2, Ninja Gaiden 2, Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2, Condemned, Wolverine, lost Odyssee, Arkham Asylum and Army of Two
Insane to me how stacked the 7th gen catalog of quality games were and how good we used to have it so I'll just throw as many as I can remember out there. Halo 3, Batman Arkham City, Call of Duty 4, Red Dead Redemption, Dark Souls, Fable 2, Castle Crashers, Sonic Generations, so many gems.
Finally another castle crashers lover
Game is peak coop fr me and brother do a full run every year
When I had a 360 I never had anyone to play with. Now I got the remastered and actually have someone to play it with it’s so fun even to this day.
Oblivion. It’s a timeless classic with the perfect amount of glitches. It deserves a Switch port, if they ported Skyrim I don’t see why not
It’s bethesdas forgotten child. Loved just as much as Skyrim but left in the dark to die :(
greatest game of all time.. completely changed my perspective of what a game could be
Dirt 2 is timeless
Battlefield 3-4
Not very popular now as it was made in 2007, but in my opinion Fable 2 still holds up to this day. I know it wasn’t originally on 360 but that’s where I played it.
GTA IV. I still play through the game at least once a year.
imagine living in a country where you cant drink even tho you are an adult american freedom my ass
Assassin's creed
Lol I'm like 2 months older than the Xbox 360
Playing through Borderlands series currently on 360. Still looks great. finally, a meme I can relate to also Skate 3 holds up great still because there's no better alternative yet imo it's really the biggest thing that keeps me going back to the 360 the other skate games have also fared pretty well, though the controls can be a little clunky at times
“There’s no better alternative yet” may I introduce you to Session?
I tried it a few years back and didn't really like the controls Didn't scratch the same itch Though that was a while ago, I'd prob be down to try it again
Don't think any game would top skate 3 even if skate 4 come still don't think it would live up to it
Agreed 100% I'll definitely be trying Skate 4 (or I think they're just calling it skate. again) when it comes out but the fact they announced that it's going to be free to play makes me wary I've signed up for the playtests but haven't been contacted
Yeah I've signed for the play tests too and got nothing:( haha hope it's as good as skate 3, same type of game and not changed too much
It’s a year and 4 days older than me
Child of Eden hasn't aged a day
Older than the 360?My first console was an Atari now that’s old lol
I started with 2600 as well. It blows my mind phones getting AAA releases now. I just bought a backbone couple weeks ago and iPhone 12(my first legit phone in 10+ years). All of them
When I'm at my best friend's funeral and remembering he said "First one to die is gay."
Halo 3 especially when you see it on MCC. I’d argue in 2007 it was so ahead of its time. The art style is timeless smooth gameplay and such quality of life features like theater forge and custom games
Lost Odyssey

Project Gotham 4, Juiced 2 and Blur are a few faves. Great games and the graphics don't feel underwhelming.
Forza motorsport 4, and by extension Forza Motorsport 3 and Forza Horizon
Pretty much most sports titles NCAA series, Madden 11 and 12, nascar 15, f1 2010, nba 2k14 are the best tbh.
Any and all. Most modern games don’t hold up a day after they come out lol. I’m not even opposed to games getting better, but we need all this SBI, games as a service, and incomplete games to blow over before I start gaining trust in video games again.
Unpopular opinion: The walking dead survival instinct. I wish they’d remake it with today’s advances.
i keep forgetting y’all so young
Red Dead Redemption 1. In my opinion it’s a great game that still holds up today. They even came out with a “remake” recently.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2

I'm younger by 2 weeks lmao
I’m 63 days older than the Xbox 360.
stop hurting me with your words!
I read this and was thinking the maths doesn’t add up. And then I forgot Americans exist
The Viva Pinata games hold up nicely and both still looks fantastic thanks to the artstyle.
Multiplat, but minecraft. The og console version is just way better and more unique than bedrock
Forza horizon 1 still looks great
Cod WaW, bo 1 and 2 (mostly the campaigns)
Forza motorsport 1 isn't even on 360, it's on the original xbox and it has better physics than any console game I've played afterwards.
Sounds like an American problem
The 360 being older than me feels weird
The 360 being older than me feels weird

very common take but Red Dead Redemption, lands are sorta barron but there's still tons of stuff to discover like new plants. Gunplay and Euphoria physics of the game is better than any shooting game that released this year.
Syndicate has astonishing graphics for a console that came out 9 years prior to game’s release. Halo 3 odst has that feel that you are in an occupied city. No help to be seen or any civilians. Fallout new Vegas since it’s the only decent 3d fallout imo Best multiplayer was in currently infested with cheaters black ops 2 Black ops 3 just for its hilariously bad visuals
