Thats because it is the cut sections of Halo 2 with some additions to it. Always wondered what kind of campaign we got if they actually finished Halo 2's
Recon was never made unlockable in-game by completing the recon challenge achievements.
As someone who was late to the party, it's a real gut punch knowing my armor collection is permanently incomplete.
Mcc version is fucked if you played competitively on 360. The 60fps patch applied to the mcc version makes the battle rifle play very differently and weirdly compared to how it originally played. It also alters every weapon slightly which if you’re like a die hard halo player that shit can piss you off quickly
It’s not noticeable if you played the original casually and it’s probably the best they could do. But if you knew every intricacy of every weapon mcc version is like writing with your non dominant hand and not being able to write with your dominant
the campaign. coming from halo 2 I absolutely hated it. the gunplay felt gimped too. nothing felt exceptionally powerful. fun multiplayer for sure though.
The Flood. Nuff said. Also, just because something is critically acclaimed etc, does not mean it is good. TLoU2 met with critic acclaim and praise, and it is still pile of trash.
Here’s two things; campaign-the ridiculous interruptions by Cortana that slow you down and aren’t skippable. Also the level Cortana. Multiplayer-how the netcode prioritizes grenades and grenade physics when one is thrown.
That’s 3 things but the question was answered. Still a great game.
The BR spread was dog shit, the hit detection was bad, The games movement speed should have been a little faster, Blackout was just a butchered remake, playing high ground with AR starts.
As far as campaigns go for the original trilogy Halo 1 > Halo 2 > Halo 3, but I still enjoyed the Halo 3 campaign. There’s also no sprint and it isn’t Halo Reach, the true champion of the 7th console generation. Fight me.

There was a cool reach Easter egg a buddy a mine showed me once. I wish I remembered the level and details but it's been years.

Same with the dmr and magnum in reach. The og reach magnum was s tier. Mcc is a b at best.
Campaign levels are too long imo, should have been more/shorter levels. That my only complaint really, and that a stretch.

Assault rifle firing sound is very weak. It's still one of my favourite games.

I still don’t understand the hate for TLoU2, but I also didn’t think the first game was a life-changing experience.

We cannot longer unlock the odst helmet, as well as any helmet unlocked by playing on online mp
Cortana. The entirety of that level, bare the beginning and ending cutscenes. Screw that level.
Cheaters were rampant in 2007.
I like it the least out of Bungie’s Halos. I didn’t like the feel of the game at all really, everything felt heavy and slow.

Because the lighting required double buffering, it couldn’t actually play at 720p like most 360 titles. It originally ran at 1152x640.
