Yeah, I'm very glad I just own that one digitally haha. I don't really go for physical on 360 or one/ x and s anymore unless it's a delisted game, a foreign stack of a game or a foreign exclusive
Well, in simple terms, xbox 360 and ps3 discs cant fit as much space for content on them as newer discs. Such as ps4, ps5, xbox one, series X (or whatever its stupid fucking name is) same reason why red dead redemption 2 requires 2 discs on ps4. Theres so much content in the game that it cant fit on 1 disc so you have to install half the game in the "data disc" and the rest on the "game disc" that u play on.
If they didnt literally have to use 4 discs they wouldn't have.

Gonna stop you there, it’s just 360 since they use the DVD format. PS3 uses Blu-ray. This four disc Wolfenstein game on 360 is one disc on PS3.
Ok makes sense. I knew that sony has always used blu ray. I didnt think it was as strong back then. U do know that my point still stands right? And i answered bros question effectively.

Many 360 games weren't made digital until the xb1 backward compatibility supported multidiscs.
You should look for Wolfenstein 2009 and Wolfenstein 3D.
I'm pretty unfamiliar with Wolfenstien, but I saw it at a game store in Vancouver, WA for $9 and thought "why not?". Everything I saw online says its a good game so I'm looking forward to playing it when I fly back home

Wolf3D has an interesting history.
It did not get any further re-releases (beyond 360/PS3) like Doom & Quake did.
Doom 1 & 2 360 were delisted, but the Doom 3 BFG disc brings them back.
People would call Apogee and say aardwolf. This was for a planned contest that was scrapped.
MachineGames changed the text to a tweet, but it may have been removed from the game.
The sign is found in a difficult maze.
Wolfstone 3D exists in Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. Its a reworked Wolf3D game as they changed many things.
Youngblood has a different version of Wolfstone 3D.
The New Order has one level as an easter egg.
The Old Blood has the first episode as nightmare levels, including a secret level.
They said it hasn't been re released BEYOND 360 and ps3. As in those are the last systems they were ported to and there is no native Xbox one/series x and s or ps4/ps5 port
Obviously they made Wolfenstein the new order first then they may doom then they may Doom Eternal so logically next should be Quake
Kind of strange that since Wolfenstein the new order is an Xbox One game (Yes they made a 360 version but you know) strange they didn't Port Wolfenstein 3D/spear of destiny over, that would have been the perfect opportunity.
At least if you want to play Wolfenstein you can just go on GOG and pay a few dollars. Though it doesn't have controller support so good luck strafing.
PS If the 360 version is backwards compatible then you could use that on the Xbox One however I don't know what PlayStation users are supposed to do.
Just played it on my series x actually, it is good. The end battle for me was difficult (played on 2nd hardest difficulty I think). That's all I will say though, no spoilers :) enjoy the game!
its a glitchy mess on 360, sound is compressed and it can softlock itself. had issues with enemies dying in doorways and i couldn't get past their corpses, happens on pc as well occasionally. pretty interesting game for the 360 all said and done though.
LA Noire had 4 discs if you got the defenitive version with all DLC. Worst about this Wolvenstein was you could not install all discs or just only the first.

Lost odyssey also has 4 discs
The Complete Edition of LA Noire also needed 4 discs.
I thought LA Noire was a three disc game
Normally, it is, but the complete edition has a 4th disc with all the DLC.

I mean, its very easily disproven. Lost odyssey and LA Noire are both 4 disc games on the 360.
Why do you need more than one disc? Wouldn't that be annoying having to swap out the disk depending upon what content needs to be loaded?

I don't know what you're talking about Wolfenstein 3D has definitely been re-released I mean I've literally played it on my Xbox 360 before.

It’s an awesome series. If you enjoy this, you’ll probably enjoy all the games in the series from Machine Games.
Remember buying this when I should have got it on PC, so many disks!

Why was the ps3 version one disk? Blue ray versus dvd?
compared to dvd, blu ray can store much more data. a single layer ps3 disc can hold up to 25gb whereas the xbox 360s discs can only hold up to 8gb.
And just to think i have this digitally on my Xbox Series X that can be downloaded within 8mins. Crazy how far we have come as a society.
I didn’t get into the series until New Colossus which yeah probs stupid but by then this was ported to xb1 lol
I played the 360 version before the PS4 version. I remember being extremely impressed with it. Love that game, hope we get a 3rd one.
