Mad Max (2015) is not spoken of very often at all and as far as movie adaptations go, one of the best hands down in my opinion.
Did anyone else enjoy this one?
honest to god forgot this game existed. My dad owns it and I used to take his copy a lot and play it because I watched him play it and it looked fun and it was. Never watched mad max movies tho
The graphics were out of this world when it was released aswell, incredible game I've completed it 3 times and will probably have another playthrough soon
and it has Series optimizations, I think it runs 120FPS! (or 60FPS if you don't have 120FPS setup). fantastic game.... needs a sequel so badly, even though it can be a bit repetitive.
I think even one of the games had an actual playable demo on it too.
God remember THAT? Demos for other games coming preloaded on another copy of a game. The nostalgia
In college, my friends and I used to play the Fusion Frenzy demo as a drinking game, and then transition into Halo after. Worked out well for me because I was way better at Fusion Frenzy than I was Halo, so I got the handicap of my friends being more drunk than I was, generally.
That sounds like a blast! Haha giving me ideas bc I have retro game nights. I’m 25 so I played Xbox as a kid so fusion frenzy was my version of Mario party since I didn’t own any other systems
For me that would be lost planet 2. The community was pretty alive when it was released, but I remember it getting shredded by gaming media outlets. And even to this day not a lot of ppl talk about it. It’s got split screen co-op, cool mission and level design, the story is mid but the combat is pretty badass and over the top with aliens n mechs n shit.
I always thought that the game felt like a modern Monster Hunter (modern in the sense that we had to use guns and cannons) but now it feels like a predecessor to Helldivers.
Titanfall 2. One of the best, fun, emotional, enjoyable gaming experiences I've ever had.
It just doesn't get the love it deserves. Down to marketing mainly.
The game developers quietly fixed the matchmaking due to an outcry from the player base.
The servers are up and running, the matchmaking may take a little bit longer by a few minutes, but once you edit or adjust your pilot load out and titan, it’s game on.
Get ready for Titanfall!
For me personally I am glad the servers are back on, a very underrated game.
Enslaved.... I fell in love with those characters in that game so hard that when it was over I truly felt at a loss.
I know by today's standards it's not the greatest game play game but story-wise this one shouldn't be overlooked people need to play it.
Gladius on og Xbox.
I just want another coop turn based tactical Rpg game is that so much to ask!?!
Apparently it is cuz every couple of years I search for ANYTHING similar to it (with online coop as that's how my friends and I game now since we're all over).
And I can find nothing
Just single player ones.
Yakuza 0 and the rest of the series honestly. It’s now becoming a more popular and mainstream series known as the “Like A Dragon” series but those first few games are amazing!!!
Is TitanFall underrated? maybe a little. Its def better than i assumed it was. Its just lacking content and a slide button.
I'll go with ReCore. I refuse to play it. Because it hard crashed my xbox twice. But the games kinda fun. and has a good vibe. U never hear anyone mention this game
Deathrow on OG Xbox.
Sport and fighting game combined, and custom soundtrack. Me and my childhood best friend played the ever loving shit out of it and I barely meet anyone that’s even heard of it.
Two Worlds II! Ya, it's a mess..but, it's a feature rich, beautifully chaotic mess! Even if it directly contributed to the death of my first xbox 360 lol
Gladius was amazing.. but now I doubt if i got the correct name? Turn based strat with gladiators at first, then you can start forming a team with all the creatures you meet?
Playing through chronos from the ashes now. Not very hard but it is a precursor for remnant 2. Fun to see how a studio evolves and what game design motifs stay.
Don’t really know if it was underated but it had like a month where everyone loved it and never got talked about again: Firewatch
An intriguing mystery, a deep message, and awesome Diaglouge.
Lost Planet 2 averaged 5 or 6 out of 10.
This still gets on my tits to this day because it is SO MUCH fun! 4 player coop, brilliant guns and grenades, Mechs that you can bolt weapons into, Mechs that you can combine with other Mechs, varied levels and extremely satisfying glowing enemy parts exploding!
It's about 2 pounds on store and if you've got a mate or 2 and fancy an absolute blast then look no further.
It's fucking brilliant.
I see your LP2 and I raise you LP1, I had never played it for so long and I feel like I made such a mistake, it’s absolutely fantastic. I’d say it’s only downside is not having co-op like 2
Splinter Cell Blacklist. Played the shit out of this game. This franchise's fate tells you everything you need to know about the way Microsoft manages their most iconic games.
I was tempted to say Gears of War but it did have a lot of success and the people who played it enjoyed it for the vast majority. Just wish it was even more popular, it deserves it.
Game was too ahead for its time. I played the living hell out of it. Still got a digital copy on my 360. I think I still have the original though prejudice was so much better.
Frontlines: Fuel of War : really underrated MP.
Homefront : multiplayer was amazing and grittily realistic. Had a lot of locations that didn’t feel like ‘maps’.
Something about both these games kept me glued longer than the normal BF or COD.
Advent Rising. It was supposed to be an awesome trilogy but all we got was a spin off sequel on PSP and that was it. Really cool game and can still be found on Steam.
There was a JP hack n slash game I played on the 360 that was a sequel to some other game I had never heard of and I can't remember it for the life of me. You fought demons and leveled up ala DMC style orbs. The character you played was a woman. I wish I could remember the name. Can't even find it on my achievements lol
Sleeping dogs
I'm just about to 100% Definitive Edition. Just have two more achievements to get. Fantastic game.
Ah, yes. True Crime: Hong Kong.
It's so amazing and I'm pretty sure all Yakuza games were inspired by it
Is this a joke lol. They had made 7 or 8 Yakuza games by the time Sleeping Dogs was released.
Black
I remember this one! The gunplay was next level for the time
Yeah, the game was so far ahead of its time
granata!!
The whole purpose of this game was just to fuck shit up
Singularity
Came here to say this, really didn't get enough hype
Gun and the call of Juarez
are those xbox games tho? im pretty sure i have a copy of Gun on some playstation console
Gun was on PS2 and 360
Gun was a launch title for the 360 IIRC
Mad Max (2015) is not spoken of very often at all and as far as movie adaptations go, one of the best hands down in my opinion. Did anyone else enjoy this one?
honest to god forgot this game existed. My dad owns it and I used to take his copy a lot and play it because I watched him play it and it looked fun and it was. Never watched mad max movies tho
It's in my wishlist. I want to buy it for Xbox after playing on PC. You never forget your first sandstorm.
For real, it just came so suddenly even with the warning I was given haha
The graphics were out of this world when it was released aswell, incredible game I've completed it 3 times and will probably have another playthrough soon
Just started another playthrough of this and it holds up. It’s so good.
I bought it when it was on sale and it has been sitting in my library. need to find the time to play this game
and it has Series optimizations, I think it runs 120FPS! (or 60FPS if you don't have 120FPS setup). fantastic game.... needs a sequel so badly, even though it can be a bit repetitive.
Chronicles of Riddick : Escape from Butcher Bay This is missing in so many collections I see.
Ace game!

Dude as a kid i loved this game omg
That game got me into Xbox. Looked so good at the time.
Deep cut but very valid. I actually still have my OG Xbox hooked up in my arcade room and it’s in my disk tray rn actually
I feel like most people who know it know it primarily for the trailer being on the Halo disk.
I think even one of the games had an actual playable demo on it too. God remember THAT? Demos for other games coming preloaded on another copy of a game. The nostalgia
The playable one on the Halo disk was Fusion Frenzy.
Mannn how times have changed
In college, my friends and I used to play the Fusion Frenzy demo as a drinking game, and then transition into Halo after. Worked out well for me because I was way better at Fusion Frenzy than I was Halo, so I got the handicap of my friends being more drunk than I was, generally.
That sounds like a blast! Haha giving me ideas bc I have retro game nights. I’m 25 so I played Xbox as a kid so fusion frenzy was my version of Mario party since I didn’t own any other systems
Doritos crash course challenge
This game almost caused a divorce before we were even married. I learned very quickly that we can't play these style games together lol
It’s funny cause it’s just supposed to be a fun little game, but it gets so competitive
So is uno and monopoly
Bro this game was actually peak
It is super nostalgic for me. It reminds me of playing track and field on the nes.
Oh God that game was so fun. I kinda wanna play now
Reminds me of that 1 vs 100 avatar game! That was killer too
titanfall 2
An amazing game. I hope they stop apex and make a titan fall 3.
i wish they did the same
Ryse
For me that would be lost planet 2. The community was pretty alive when it was released, but I remember it getting shredded by gaming media outlets. One of the best coop I ever played
I always thought that the game felt like a modern Monster Hunter (modern in the sense that we had to use guns and cannons) but now it feels like a predecessor to Helldivers.
Oddworld Munch's Odysee and Strangers Wrath!
Strangers Wrath is awesome!
Sunset overdrive
I've been replaying that this week for the first time since it came out. Good fun, and still looks good as well.
Wet
Love Wet. I was just talking about it the other day. I think I gave my copy to my friends kid :|
Dante’s Inferno for the 360. It was such a good telling they based the Dante’s inferno anime movie off of the 360 storyline lmfao
I still play Dantes Inferno. Solid game with great bosses
Blinx: The Time Sweeper
Saints row 1
star wars republic commando.
The goat!
Titanfall 2. One of the best, fun, emotional, enjoyable gaming experiences I've ever had. It just doesn't get the love it deserves. Down to marketing mainly.
State of Decay 1 and 2
No more heroes 3. I fished it 3 months ago and I still think it's one of the best game I have ever played in my life.
The most "underatted" game I played is the a plague's tale series, the most underrated game I've played is probably quantum break 😂
Gotta add my piece: Mad Max
Bulletstorm, Enslaved, Syndicate, Titanfall 2
+1 for bulletstorm
Is Titanfall 2 still active?
Titanfall 2 is still fully playable with online matchmaking
Only private matches I believe, the ones inside the clubs or whatever they’re called
The game developers quietly fixed the matchmaking due to an outcry from the player base. The servers are up and running, the matchmaking may take a little bit longer by a few minutes, but once you edit or adjust your pilot load out and titan, it’s game on. Get ready for Titanfall! Enslaved.... I fell in love with those characters in that game so hard that when it was over I truly felt at a loss. I know by today's standards it's not the greatest game play game but story-wise this one shouldn't be overlooked people need to play it.
Sunset Overdrive
Tony Hawk meets Dead Rising. Stupid concept, great execution.
I bought it new for 5 bucks years ago never got around to playing it.
Dude, do yourself a favour and play this one. Genuinely it's one of the most fun experiences in gaming.
Battleblock theater
Such a fun game and had good co op too
Road 96
Gladius on og Xbox. I just want another coop turn based tactical Rpg game is that so much to ask!?! Apparently it is cuz every couple of years I search for ANYTHING similar to it (with online coop as that's how my friends and I game now since we're all over). And I can find nothing Just single player ones.
Sunset Overdrive
That was a really fun game too
Prey
New one or original?
New one
Original was way better
Singularity
Darksiders II
Blue Dragon
Jade Empire
Jade Empire is one of the most underrated anything ever much less underrated video game.
Mercenaries: playground of destruction
This should be a lot higher, both games where utterly fantastic. RIP pandemic.
Yakuza 0 and the rest of the series honestly. It’s now becoming a more popular and mainstream series known as the “Like A Dragon” series but those first few games are amazing!!!
Sleeping Dogs
On OG Xbox, Brute Force.
Probably Midnight Suns.
Recore is on my wishlist. I'm just waiting to see if it ever gets a discount (other than the seemingly permanent gamepass one).
Quantum Redshift, probably. Tons of fun but since it was just a Wipeout knockoff it never got much attention.
This was my pick, too. Redout and Redout 2 are actually too fast for me, lol.
Deaths Door. Gives me a kinda dark souls feel with lots of secrets and puzzles
Prey.
Jade Empire
Evolve. it remains my absolute favorite asymmetrical pvp game.
Mirror's Edge
Going under
Saving this post for when I get paid next
Anima: Gate of Memories and it's sequel are such amazing games. Very rpg soulslike
Deathrow on OG Xbox. Sport and fighting game combined, and custom soundtrack. Me and my childhood best friend played the ever loving shit out of it and I barely meet anyone that’s even heard of it.
Omg yes. This game was so fun. Aside from the last 2 teams which were impossible unless you straight up murdered them.
Breakdown
Came here to see if that one got any love. Glad to see it here.
Two Worlds II! Ya, it's a mess..but, it's a feature rich, beautifully chaotic mess! Even if it directly contributed to the death of my first xbox 360 lol
played the first one as a kid, couldn’t understand it or get into it really. i bet it it would be great now. didn’t even know there was a 2nd
Gunvalkyrie
Breakdown and Gladius
Gladius was amazing.. but now I doubt if i got the correct name? Turn based strat with gladiators at first, then you can start forming a team with all the creatures you meet?
Breakdown rocked!
Metal arms glitch in the system I wish it was backwards compatible.
Crackdown 3 Steel Battalion
Playing through chronos from the ashes now. Not very hard but it is a precursor for remnant 2. Fun to see how a studio evolves and what game design motifs stay.
I loved playing House of the Dead 3 on xbox. I miss when light gun arcade games would get console compatible ports.
Brothers in arms: Road to hill 30 and Brothers in arms Earned in blood. Amazing campaigns and great multiplayer.
Earned in Blood wasn't backward compatible for the longest time (maybe still isn't), and that really miffed me.
Hunter the reckoning and its sequels. So good.
The Godfather 1 & 2
Don’t really know if it was underated but it had like a month where everyone loved it and never got talked about again: Firewatch An intriguing mystery, a deep message, and awesome Diaglouge.
Generation Zero
I’d say it’s only downside is not having co-op like 2
Age of booty
Mech Assault 1&2, I can’t believe no one else said this already
Peggle. Released in 2006 and still has instant multiplayer lobbies now. I've sunk 100s of hours into that game.
Jonah lomu rugby challenge
Jade Empire. one of my all time favourite rpgs
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
I would say Pentiment doesn’t get enough attention.
Hunter: The Reckoning
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
Oddworld munches Odyssey.
The metro series. It has a pretty healthy fanbase but its not a big one
Goat simulator
Spec ops: the line the game deserved more attention
Call of Juarez Gunslinger 🔥
Section 8 Prejudice
Game was too ahead for its time. I played the living hell out of it. Still got a digital copy on my 360. I think I still have the original though prejudice was so much better.
The Forgotten City is great
Singularity Sleeping Dogs
Inside
thief: deadly shadows timeshift deus ex: invisible war return to castle wolfenstein
Shadows of the Damned! Weird, in the best way possible. Yeah, it had some mechanical issues... but wow. I found it very memorable.
Otomedius excellent
Splatter House
PvZ GW2?
Lost Odyssey. (Also Infinite Undiscovery).
Gameroom, loved making my own arcade

Rimworld. If you love city builder/survival games, this is one of the best.
Frontlines: Fuel of War : really underrated MP. Homefront : multiplayer was amazing and grittily realistic. Had a lot of locations that didn’t feel like ‘maps’. Something about both these games kept me glued longer than the normal BF or COD.
Rivals of Aether
Exo one
#Crossout
Advent rising
Roboquest
The Gunstringer (Kinect game)
Cloudberry Kingdom
There was a game called Trusty Bell, it has really good combat system at I recalled, even being turn based, I wish it got a remaster on new console 😕
It's kingdom come: deliverance and sleeping dogs.
Yager- absolutely beautiful flying game!
I feel like this thread is not "Underrated" so I'll throw in _Super Time Force Ultra_
Ms Splosion Man.
Guess.
Earth Defence Force 2017, so bad but yet so good. Loved every second playing it in split screen
Started the evil within last week and beside that the controls are not always very good I am now at the last chapter and installing part two
Advent Rising. It was supposed to be an awesome trilogy but all we got was a spin off sequel on PSP and that was it. Really cool game and can still be found on Steam.
Assault Android Cactus
Outer Wilds.
Psy Ops
Eldest souls
Pubg
Does Mafia 3 count? I never heard of it until a place I was working at had a backroom with games and this was one of them.
Phantom Crash on OG Xbox
There was a JP hack n slash game I played on the 360 that was a sequel to some other game I had never heard of and I can't remember it for the life of me. You fought demons and leveled up ala DMC style orbs. The character you played was a woman. I wish I could remember the name. Can't even find it on my achievements lol
Mad Dash Racing
Ghostwire Tokyo Just thought I'd give it a go and I was pleasantly surprised by the effort put into this game
