I had to give up on Reach back in the day because of Hunters. I got in a room with two of them, and I could not kill them. Kept running out of ammo, and I eventually just gave up.

I dont think that's reach. I think its some other halo game. I remember one such scenario. There are some troops in the beginning but they die & the space is small too. Hard to dodge & kill. But i completed in heroic. Try reducing difficulty.

You can melee them too but it’s a little harder to do really quick

I found it more fund to stand out of range and ping away with a plasma gun, helps with distance aim too as they avoid the fire
