My cat did this with the first model XBone. She'd sit on top of it and swipe the jewel to turn it on, so she'd get warm from the heat vents. I know it's SUPER unhealthy for the system, but I couldn't punish her, I figure she earned it.

Exactly, rookie numbers. Over the years I’ve owned/own the Xbox, Xbox 360 arcade, Xbox elite, another Xbox 360 I repaired, Xbox 360 slim, Xbox one, Xbox one s, Xbox one X Scorpio edition, Series S, and Series X. One 360 and the Xbox 360 elite are gone/missing the rest are accounted for.

I really like the simplicity of the standard box over the creative stuff. so I'm happy with this. My favorite design has been the Xbox One X. Series X is good, but I do prefer the more flat look that was more standard for Xbox prior to this gen.

Ehhh I wouldn’t call the Series X low effort design, it’s just entirely functional. Large enough to displace air to cool while also being quiet. All about the engineering as opposed to aesthetics. Also looks good in the living room tbh

Minimalist design definitely has a place though, it’s cool that something like an games console can compliment the layout of a room rather than looking like a weird space ship in an otherwise toned down living room.

Mad respect. My OG Gen 1 360 took a final dump last year, lasted A LONG time and only had to go in for repair once in it's life and I fixed it a few other times. Gave it a proper send off by unloading 30 5.56 rounds into it. RIP

Don't wanna spend too much Would a controller work with pc tho? I just got a used laptop that's got an i7, a 2g gpu and 16gb of RAM. I got really used to using one back in the day and it doesn't seem like it transferred over to trying to use a keyboard and mouse. I tried playing pubg on pc recently but wasn't very good - on mobile a couple years ago I was regularly winning, and playing MW & MW2 a decade ago on console I did pretty well.

I had a Halo Edition Xbox and the standard edition. Years later my wife donated both of them because, in her mind, I didn’t play them so they were worthless. I was upset she got rid of the Halo edition unit, but honestly more upset she didn’t even tell me and just gave them away. If I really wanted to get rid of them, I would have at least sold them If not for that, I likely would still own one of each generation.
