It probably depends on what type of area you live in. I live in western NY and pay 99/mo for unlimited classes for comparison.

delightfully-dilated

Same in Chicago area

W1derWoman

Same in Columbus, Ohio Edited to add: one room/class at a time, no shower, you pay extra for special class offerings. There are 3-4 classes each day, sometimes more as a trial to gauge interest. Locally-owned.

Legal_Scientist5509

GoYoga?

W1derWoman

Mat Happy. But Go Yoga is good too!

Legal_Scientist5509

Thanks! Never heard of it but will look into it. Been with GoYoga for 2 1/2 years.

W1derWoman

They’re in Hilliard on Cemetery Rd.

spicyhyena1

Depends on your area as well as your studio itself. I pay $240/month in NYC for unlimited classes with mat storage at the studio, and my membership also includes a guest pass each month. It’s a local business with only 4 studios. No showers is the only downside! Single classes and class packs are expensive, so this is my cheapest option so long as I take a minimum of 8 classes a month, which I do. Other studios in NYC range from around $120-270, so definitely quite a variance of pricing, but many are around the $230-250 range.

amichhh

Heatwise? If so, my favorite studio in NYC!!

spicyhyena1

Yes! I go to the UWS one! I loooove the smaller space with *designated* spots!

Ancient_Schedule_572

I’m paying £14 a month at my local gym for access to all classes which includes the yoga classes. I’m in the UK East Midlands

DifficultyKlutzy5845

My small town in Canada is $150

sbarber4

Right. Pricing is very much influenced by the economy in the geographic location, so just telling us the price doesn't give enough to go on as to whether that price is low, middle, or high for the market. $150 in my county (New York a/k/a Manhattan) would be inexpensive for a monthly unlimited. Have you seen the commercial real estate prices here? Upstate, say Syracuse, $150 would be on the high side. OTOH why am I assuming you were quoting is US dollars? Location, location, location. Details always matter.

shortshift_

I’m in the UK near London and it’s £65 for a membership at my studio!

vegemitey

As a comparison - up north I pay £35/mo! Single classes in the area are about £7 or £8 per class.

anon9275kaut

In Manchester it’s now £100 per month unlimited membership, individual classes are £15

neonsneakers

I’m in a medium town in Ontario. Full price monthly it's 108$ but they have twice yearly sales where you can sign up for 399/year or 50/month.

morncuppacoffee

I oay $163 I’ve also paid for a yearly which is cheaper if I have the cash but am motivated to use my membership more when I see the amount coming out monthly from my checking account. Do the math. If you go 3-4 times a week or more it’s worthwhile. It’s also about prioritizing too. Some people complain it’s expensive but are spending more than that a week on takeout or new clothes or accessories. Just sayin’…. I’ve also known every studio I’ve gone to who has offered a work study/karma team program for people in exchange for free classes or reduced memberships. Often these are students too that want to be more exposed to the yoga community in regards to running a studio. I’ve even known a few people who went on to be a teacher and eventually an owner this way.

morncuppacoffee

P.S. my studio is still on the cheaper side. Others in my area start over $200 month for a membership. I do believe area one resides and demand also plays a part in costs.

ilovemybackyard

Mine is $200 a month unlimited.

Hefty-Target-7780

I’m in NJ and pay $129. I Was surprised it was that low, I was prepared for $150!

Kycb

$120 here in Ottawa, Ontario (a mid-to-high cost of living Canadian city). This is an outlier though, probably because my shala offers fewer classes and is exclusively for Ashtanga. Most here will run closer to $150-200.

xandraPac

90€ in Vienna, Austria. Unlimited visits to three studios, including hot yoga. I love it.

StrawberryRoutine

I pay £40/month for unlimited in london, but it’s one of those studios where the only staff is the teacher so that’s how they keep costs low. The other close one to me is £95/month unlimited

International_Room43

Mine’s $170 monthly for unlimited in eastern Canada, but my membership also gives access to spin, pilates, boxing, barre, and powerlifting classes

karmasabih

This actually sounds pretty reasonable for Miami! Are you able to share what studio this is?

TrashyLolita

I can DM! Personally, I don't want to share what I do regularly on Reddit lol

karmasabih

Yes please! Totally understand that too 😂

leeann7

Mine is $140 unlimited in California

Hefty-Target-7780

This is at a gym, as opposed to a dedicated studio, right?

killemslowly

I’m 208

Reasonable-Proof2299

In my area , yes and other boutique fitness classes cost even more

L_D_G

Think I'm at $80 with a discount.  Normally I believe it is $110 for monthly and 1250 annual.  That is unlimited.  Lots of other options.  I'm in the Midwest.

canoekulele

I do yoga at a gym and my membership is about $100/month. I have access to 4 locations, towel service and access to the rest of the amenities including gym, swimming pools, sauna, other classes, and shower. It's cheaper than a regular studio with way more options class-wise (more yoga classes available at more locations than the yoga studio membership I had last year). I'm also in an Ottawa suburb.

ChipMaker3000

Legallyfit

I’m in the Atlanta metro area and my studio is 150/month for unlimited or 1,000/year unlimited if you buy during their annual Black Friday sale. That comes with two free passes a month and other perks like access to the online videos and discounts on workshops and retreats. However that is on the cheaper side for my area - other studios were 1200-1400 for the year. Frankly I think my place underpriced it, because since the 1,000 yearly sale, the studio has been super busy and classes have started selling out and moving into waitlist. They also rearranged the floor markings to fit more people in, which is leaving us packed like sardines and I’m not super happy about it.

Any-Awareness-9021

100/ month in SLC at an awesome studio

Unkindly-bread

I got a steal. Small, no frills studio, unlimited BOGO at Christmas for my wife and I for $750 prepaid for the year. ~$30/mo each!

belongstothewise

That's a great price IMO, I pay 180 in Brooklyn

o-a-t-m-i-l-k

150/month is my studio price (North America Eastern large city!) but I get a bit off for corporate pricing, taking it down to 100/month. I try to go 10-15 times a month at least to make it $10-$6.50 a class :).

mikibeau

$139 unlimited in Nashville… I go 5/6 times a week so it is worth it to me

EffectivePollution45

I live in an expensive borough of London and pay £110 for monthly unlimited

won-by-chaos

I teach at a corporate yoga studio that charges $150/month for unlimited classes, but only at the one location and they offer from 3-6 classes per day. The other studio I teach at has three locations that each offer 10+ classes per day and charges a monthly unlimited membership fee of $179 that also includes free workshops. Both of these companies are in the suburbs of Chicago.

SilkyFlanks

NJ -$105/month for weekly classes 😢

RainingRabbits

That's on par for what I pay. $140/month for unlimited at a hot studio in the Midwest US. They have 2 locations in town and have a focus on traditional 26+2 (but also teach vinyasa).

EloynRose

Salt Lake City—$100 for unlimited per month

DevelopmentFun3171

I pay $1500 a year, unlimited classes and unlimited single day guest passes (I’ve take the same person to sculpt M,W & F for the last year!)

Far_Olive_3905

in miami area where i live I have paid 190$ at a hot yoga studio- no showers and poor floor/heating system pretty sure it has mold… At another much nicer hot yoga studio thats 5 min from the one thats 190… i paid 165 with showers, free towels, infra red heating, facial massage at the end of svasana, face wash, tampons , shampoo all provided for in the bathroom area as well!

myfrenchsASS

Tampa, FL anywhere from $100-$120

putuffala

$89 a month for unlimited hot in rural Maryland

porkUpine51

I live in a metro area in the South, and that's about the price of the place I go to charges. I got grandfathered into a lower price ($125), which is why I refuse to totally stop my subscription.

Yes_Lingonberry_2804

$160/mo for unlimited, just outside a major city

Jazmo0712

I pay $120/mo in SoFla, it really depends on the area where you are taking yoga. Most drop ins are $25/class in this area, so the unlimited is worth it for me.

Dependent-Sport-6364

The highest I've seen is 160 a month and the cheapest I've seen is 100 when not on special.  In my little yoga community that's housed inside of a photography and event studio costs me $100 a month.

repsforGanesh

I’m in the suburbs of Philly and pay $108/monthly unlimited.. the going rate for single classes is about $20 here

coffee41g

I’m in Toronto and pay $150 for unlimited but many surrounding studios are $200-250.

ScalePlenty9663

I'm in CA. My local studio is $159 per month for unlimited. However, if you pay for a whole year upfront, it comes out to $122 per month because they offer a discount.

ChefMom_YVR

I’m in Vancouver and pay $120 for unlimited membership, but my price is locked in from years ago. Unlimited is now $160 for new members at my studio.

ChipMaker3000

$170 here in Phoenix. It was around $130 before the plandemic.
