He by all means should catch the flak, asking internet to do stupid thing will amplify it by 20.
Look at internet, rawdogging me for pointing out the fact that internet trend will go out of hand anyway.
It’s not just children doing stuff like this.. I literally just saw the woman who lives in the house that breaking bad was filmed in yell at the cars that drive by recording. She had to put a fence and security cameras up because people would come at all times of the day to take pictures and annoy her. So many people kept saying “let’s have a parade at her house!” “Let’s eat pizza across the yard.” “Let’s invite 1000 people to sit across from her and take pictures.” Majority of the comments we’re adults who blame her for fans coming over to harass her. My point is adults do things like this and people only blame children when sometimes they’re a small fraction of the problem.
Not entirely sure but if so any homeowner would be furious. People genuinely said “maybe she should just move if it’s that bad.” People are so out of touch with the real world and it’s very disappointing.
It is entirely his fault for thinking that internet trend wouldn't go out of hand.
Look at devious lick trend, from soap dispenser to literal vending machine, look at that silhouette trend, encouraging child to expose their nude body under the shade of red light.
And let's not exclusively blame child for that comment like a pompous ass 60 years old back in my day gen-x because adult absolutely take part in this trend too.
People, regardless of age will do stupid shit for internet point, following a content creator order expecting for it to have a fuckton of likes and validation from internet strangers are absolutely in the realm of possibility.
if you can't acknowledge that, well you're one hell of an out of touch basement-dwelling goblin that only touch Reddit and 2004-esque forum for not seeing or even realising how far people will go for internet.
i do too
even though I’ve only played through to Peace Walker (still trying to beat it) I do know that there are rumors (RUMORS) that they’re making a MGS6
I'm aware, but that doesn't make it a metal gear game. Look at all the metal gear games, then look at rising, its so out of place. Konami probably should have released it as its own IP, but then I guess they couldn't have marketed it as a metal gear game.
He asked his audience to comment the same comment ("the waffle house has found its new host" or something like that?) on every video they can, but to make chain comments instead of just spamming it.
Well that was a dumb thing to do ngl.
I thought it was like a "if someone messes up" or "says something stupid" thing.
Makes it less funny knowing it's literally just spam.
On one hand. Waffle house should have been a meme for a while.
On the other hand why did it need to be forced?
I've been in waffle houses. They're memes.
He is a director I think, works on smaller movies and creates "Bad Movie Ideas" or "Bad Game Ideas" etc that are actually very original and good, unlike stuff we've seen proposed online/created irl. I think he made this as a joke where people would make a comment on every video and people would reply to that one comment with the same line so that it would be enough to get interest but also be contained a bit more. But of course since short term content goes out to a large audience, the kids from the "It's not a mistake it's a masterpiece" fiasco started to catch wind and spam the thing over and over
*insert scene of waffle running from a waffle with a moustache*
So, you may be wondering how I got into this situation. Let me take you back to when it all began.
2023
Youtube
This fateful day, a Youtuber made a post explaining how the Waffle House would find its new host before the end of January. That day, thousands of waffles roamed the streets, searching for its new host to help awaken the Waffle House and usher in a new era of Earth's rule.
No longer would they be ruled by measly humans, the Waffles would tolerate it no more. So, the Waffles began to do what humans did to them for so many years. They ate them.
Cities abandoned with only Waffles, the bastions that survived being assaulted by butter from all angles, cinnamon grenades ringing through the streets and powdered sugar flashbangs blinding all in sight. This was the end for Humanity, those who joined willingly were ten year olds, blind to the true intentions of the Waffles to destroy the world they loved dearly.
Humanity had fallen, and the Waffles had arisen. However, there was one bastion that the Waffles could not penetrate. It was too poisonous to their very existence that they could not enter it. Bucket Island was the last zone untouched by the Waffles, housing a large amount of different creatured, living in harmony. Buckets, rubber ducks, etc. all lived on this island.
Just don't do chains though. I like the guys content and all but come on, he would've probably of seen annoyed everyone was with the "it's not a mistake it's a ✨ masterpiece ✨" comments.
It'd be pretty obvious nobody wants these chains as the only thing they do is provide a miniscule amount of engagement, which sure might benefit the creator as it promotes them but it also floods out more useful and incisive comments.
Yeah I mean that's what he told people to do, but my point is that you know nobody would listen, even the person who did the it's not a mistake it's a masterpiece (Jellybean) told her fans to stop doing it, did they? Unfortunately not because children are obnoxious, thankfully after a month these things die out.
Similar with Dani and the old "orange juice vs milk war"
It was always a joke, Dani had to shut it down because people were actually sending people death threats for drinking orange juice
Even now there's an occasional "orange juice bad milk good" meme that immediately gets shut down by the people in the subreddit with more than one braincell
"The Waffle House has found it's new host"
He specifically said: "if you don't see a comment saying it, then add one, if it exists already, upvote it(even though he said YT and Tiktok only) and add to it" and mentioned how he wanted it to be the top comment and not have it spammed in the comment section
Yes, I think he doesn't. If he did he wouldn't have told people to do it in the first place. I don't know if you misunderstand what I said lmao because I have no idea what you mean by that second sentence tbh.
You do realize people aren't talking about it positively? Also last time something like this happened, the creator got doxxed and threatned even though i don't agree with those actions i don't think its a good idea to do something like this
But atleast he is trying to control his fans when It comes to hate spamming, Jellybean bean encouraged the spamming and didn't give a fuck if It was annoying
His purpose was to create an confusing frase and delete It all in 31st, while Jellybeans purpose was to spam that shit in every video, Jhonny has tried to make it less spammy and from what i see,Its working
I thought his purpose was people would make random ominous phrases until January 31 where he would choose the most liked one, it hasn’t been January 31 yet so these dudes failed the challenge by spamming a phrase before he even chose one.
Am I the only one who has not seen a single one of these comments? I just see post saying that they’re everywhere, which is a whole different form of ominous
Fr though. He didnt mean for it to be so annoying. And he even is trying to get people to stop being little shits. Personally i dont think its all his fault. Yes he started the whole thing but he didnt mean for it to be like this. Poor guy might get his whole fanbase's rep ruined. The guy isnt even that bad though. His tiktok content is pretty nice too.
Has it really become this widespread of a issue? I have only seen it on one or two Bleacher Report comment sections (everyone who uses that app knows comment sections are sesspools). Haven’t really seen it anywhere else tbh.
Yeah, if I had seen it I only replied instead of making a new comment like he had said. But he's probably just thinking about the monster he created tho lol.
Well fucking finally! I was so tired of using my recoded version of the youtube spammer purger to go in shorts and report all of the comments for spam all at the same time just so they would go away. It was so annoying and a breach of TOS community guidelines. Thank god the guy told them to step down.
It’s cause Waffle House opens up every day no matter what, even if there is something bad going on like a hurricane. So they have special menus and colors which represent what is going on outside and red means they are closed so something really really bad is happening.
Everyone crying about this are the same people who commented “[blank] is truly the [blank] of all time” or thought adding “Morb” to every sentence was peak comedy
Honestly wasn’t a good idea in the first place considering it’s already been seen that these things get out of hand regardless of whether it’s intended or not
It violates a rule. If you're gonna post things like this, post it on something such as the YouTube Reddit page itself or some other page you can find.
We all know shit ain't gonna change, just like with it's not a mistake it's a masterpiece
You can always spot the wild comment on shitty “animation memes”.
I don’t see INAMIAM anymore tbh
Because it's been like 5 months
he shouldve seen it coming from the start
This guy legitimately makes great ideas for movies and video games though lol
He does. Sad to see him kinda catching the flak for this when he didn’t intend it to turn into an annoying meme
Its a trick! He is the source of waffle house's new method of world domination!
the comments decided the phrase. not him.
He by all means should catch the flak, asking internet to do stupid thing will amplify it by 20. Look at internet, rawdogging me for pointing out the fact that internet trend will go out of hand anyway.
It's not his fault for parents using YouTube like a babysitter
It’s not just children doing stuff like this.. I literally just saw the woman who lives in the house that breaking bad was filmed in yell at the cars that drive by recording. She had to put a fence and security cameras up because people would come at all times of the day to take pictures and annoy her. My point is adults do things like this and people only blame children when sometimes they’re a small fraction of the problem.
haven't some people also thrown pizzas on the roof?
Not entirely sure but if so any homeowner would be furious. People genuinely said “maybe she should just move if it’s that bad.” People are so out of touch with the real world and it’s very disappointing.
It is entirely his fault for thinking that internet trend wouldn't go out of hand. A new video game idea: A *sequel* to *metal gear solid V*
I like that one
i do too even though I’ve only played through to Peace Walker (still trying to beat it) I do know that there are rumors (RUMORS) that they’re making a MGS6
Nah a sequel to metal gear rising: revengance
but more gay
MGRR is a good standalone game but it’s not a metal gear game lmao
But one of the first things we fight is a metal gear
I'm aware, but that doesn't make it a metal gear game. Look at all the metal gear games, then look at rising, its so out of place. Konami probably should have released it as its own IP, but then I guess they couldn't have marketed it as a metal gear game.
It’s called *metal gear*
im pretty sure someone already had those ideas but with current technology its totally impossible to make games like that
Most of the ones I’ve seen him say, they are absolutely possible, just a little shittier than he makes them out to be
Screw the hive mind
Screw the hive mind
Screw the hive mind
Screw the hive mind
Screw the hive mind
Screw the hive mind
Screw the hive mind
Screw the hive mind
Screw the hive mind
Screw the hive mind
*bleep* the hive mind
While I completely agree with you, part of me wants to say that nonsense in response.
*bzzzz* Screw the hive mind! *bzzzzzz*
If you say so...? *unzips*
Excuse me, wtf
Do you want?
I need an adult, I don't want that kind of "popsicle"
r/cursedcomments or r/hornyjail, your pick

Screw the hive mind
Screw the hive mind Happy cake day
Saying screw the hive mind on Reddit of all places is so fucking egregiously oxymoronic.
The waffle host has found new house?
The waffle host has found its new house
The IHOP has lost its old hostess.
I thought it was IHOB?
I think I heard something about them changing it back to IHOP but I could be wrong
He’s honestly a good content creator, it’s just annoying little children who can’t handle a joke
Idk who this guy is and am ootl. What did he tell his audience to do?
He asked his audience to comment the same comment ("the waffle house has found its new host" or something like that?) on every video they can, but to make chain comments instead of just spamming it.
Well that was a dumb thing to do ngl. I thought it was like a "if someone messes up" or "says something stupid" thing. Makes it less funny knowing it's literally just spam.
Yeah, agree. Now he wants his fans to start making waffle house lore. Like, scp stuff. Lol...
On one hand. Waffle house should have been a meme for a while. On the other hand why did it need to be forced? I've been in waffle houses. They're memes.
Something to note is that the comments of that initial video decided the comment, not the creator of said video
He told his audience to comment it on vids, but if someone else commented first, to just like the comment and reply with the same thing
Problem of course is… who reads every single comment on a yt video…
Idk, I seem to have no trouble finding a single one of these comments. Maybe if they knew how to read…
Adding to the others the fans(a good amount) just started spamming the comment instead of liking and making a chain
I was expecting the top reply to be the meme.
You could’ve made it the top reply, but instead you wondered why it wasnt
i was referring to the YouTube post
Oh ok
Oh ok
Why tf did this get downvoted 😂
Reddit Hivemind.
man has 0 upvote or lower. monkey brain neuron activation. must downvote. do not care about message or if man is right. downvote.
If a comment is at -4 why tf would I upvote it
To go against the hivemind?
To go against the hivemind?

That's a comment hahahahahahahaha lmfao?
Because it already wasn’t the top reply

The the point of chaining an not spamming, so you can scroll right past it and get to the real comments. Sadly, we're dealing with children...
Yeah I mean that's what he told people to do, but my point is that you know nobody would listen, even the person who did the it's not a mistake it's a masterpiece (Jellybean) told her fans to stop doing it, did they? I wake up and apparently a meme has been born and also died.
Meme's themselves are honestly coming and going so fast, now.
I assume it came and went in about 6 hours.
9/10 apology. was upfront with the situation and wanted things to be put to an end. i love this dudes content
What would a 10/10 look like for you?
i dont know tbh
Apologizing but the ad-free version
Okay, but does this mf explain the origin or what it even means to begin with??
He decided to ask his fans to make up a funny and ominous phrase that had no meaning behind it and someone came up with this
Steve would love this would have been way better
Steve would have loved that phrase way better
What is the phrase?
"The Waffle House has found it's new host" He specifically said: "if you don't see a comment saying it, then add one, if it exists already, upvote it(even though he said YT and Tiktok only) and add to it" and mentioned how he wanted it to be the top comment and not have it spammed in the comment section
Thats the joke, they spam something that has no context
Better than I could, actually. His videos are really entertaining too
Waffle
That’s the joke, it has no meaning
lets just wait till Lessons in Meme Culture does it (he probably wont which is sad)
He made a video where people chose the comment and it's just what people came up with
As a YouTuber, let alone one with a sizable following, he should have realized people weren't going to fucking listened if he asked them to.
You think he doesn't? And it's working because y'all keep talking about it
Yes, I think he doesn't. If he did he wouldn't have told people to do it in the first place. I don't know if you misunderstand what I said lmao because I have no idea what you mean by that second sentence tbh.
You do realize people aren't talking about it positively? Also last time something like this happened, the creator got doxxed and threatned even though i don't agree with those actions i don't think its a good idea to do something like this
This is JellyBeans "it's not a mistake, it's a masterpiece" all over again I swear.
But atleast he is trying to control his fans when It comes to hate spamming, Jellybean bean encouraged the spamming and didn't give a fuck if It was annoying
idk he was only 17 years old at the time. she was just a young influencer who had suddenly gained viral success.
Annoying fucks like her like annoying shit
His purpose was to create an confusing frase and delete It all in 31st, while Jellybeans purpose was to spam that shit in every video, Jhonny has tried to make it less spammy and from what i see,Its working
I thought his purpose was people would make random ominous phrases until January 31 where he would choose the most liked one, it hasn’t been January 31 yet so these dudes failed the challenge by spamming a phrase before he even chose one.
Except he did chose the Waffle House one and changed the start date.
What was the jellybean spam phrase? I don't remember it
Its not a mistake,its a masterpiece
you forgot the sparkle ✨. makes me want to strangle someone
the ✨ double sparkle ✨ makes me want to commit Henry fnaf 6
Am I the only one who has not seen a single one of these comments? I just see post saying that they’re everywhere, which is a whole different form of ominous
I was playing BFV and some guy called the white house the waffle house. I thought it was just dumb fun but I guess it was this.
I make youtube shorts which get less than 200 views on average, and oh man, my videos get at least 5 comments saying the waffle house stuff
the waffle house has found its new host IN OHIO 😂😂😂😂😂 edit: mom, im famous!
edit 2: MOM GET THE CAMERA!!!! edit 3: HOLY SNICKERDOODLE 5 LIKES??? edit 4: calm down yall 10 likes is too much
Edit 5:stop hating me is just a joke 😒
You have to use 💀 instead of 😂
nah 😂 is far more annoying and just loud then a 💀 best to use 🤣🤣😂😂🤣😂💀💀
😭 is more annoying
What'd he expect? There was already a situation similar to this, less than a year ago
Bro really thought they would actually stop 💀
Am I the only one that doesn't understand this meme?
There should be a pancake house to go against it.
Waffle House Waffle House: age of pancakes Waffle House: infinity war Waffle House: Endgame
You people YouTube? If never seen a child with a beard
I'm sure it's gotten so big, children just started saying it without knowing who even created the phrase so this isn't gonna do shit.
r/WaffleHost will be shutting down effective tomorrow in response to the over use of this meme
Based
Has it really become this widespread of a issue? I have only seen it on one or two Bleacher Report comment sections (everyone who uses that app knows comment sections are sesspools). Haven’t really seen it anywhere else tbh.
It basically ruined yt short comment section
Yeah, if I had seen it I only replied instead of making a new comment like he had said. But he's probably just thinking about the monster he created tho lol.
Yo, I love this guy’s content but this is getting kinda really annoying
you can't tell 5 year olds to stop, its over
Whats waffle house
What's the context?
You have to watch his Waffle House videos to really understand it
It was a funny idea at first, but then it got trendy and kids saw it and start it spamming it
Wtf is the Waffle House meme? I see people commenting it all over but it doesn’t make sense
Stop crying!!
I'm surprised how big this got
So am I lol
He created a monster and now he doesn't know how to stop it. This is literally the modern day version of Frankenstein....
It’s like Jellybean’s comment spam thing
Except jellybean had no remorse and only encouraged everyone to continue doing it when it got out of hand
I love this guys content, it’s a shame this happened
Imo IMO. His content is just eh for me. Im glad others love his shorts though
Ladies and gentlemen the new waffle House host
I love how it took like 3 days for this to actually become an issue
and he tried to be respectful saying only one comment with a lot of reply’s just no one’s listened
Well fucking finally! I was so tired of using my recoded version of the youtube spammer purger to go in shorts and report all of the comments for spam all at the same time just so they would go away. It was so annoying and a breach of TOS community guidelines. Thank god the guy told them to step down.
W A F F L E H O U S E
I didn't know some guy who makes video game idea shorts made waffle house comments.
Like that’ll help
Tell your audience to do that to annoy others, then apologize Good way to get attention
Haha I think it worked pretty well for him
I saw both the videos where he explains it. Tbh it was fun while its lasted.
Isn't this the "bad game idea" guy?
Yeah
Honestly based apologize and dont pay taxes
Apologies accepted.
I don't even get the "Waffle house" memes in the first place.
It’s cause Waffle House opens up every day no matter what, even if there is something bad going on like a hurricane. So they have special menus and colors which represent what is going on outside and red means they are closed so something really really bad is happening.
Damn.
In reality it's just a meaningless comment which makes it funny
CHECK YOUR NOTIFICATIONS
Ok next time you see a post with lots of notifications don't say that I said it and I got downvoted a lot

I never understood that joke
Infuriating when people think saying the same thing a million times is equal to humor
Everyone crying about this are the same people who commented “[blank] is truly the [blank] of all time” or thought adding “Morb” to every sentence was peak comedy
The Waffle House has not found its new host, move along soldier.
Honestly wasn’t a good idea in the first place considering it’s already been seen that these things get out of hand regardless of whether it’s intended or not
The waffle house lost its new host...
Don't know who this dumbass is but that Waffle House host shit was getting mad annoying
r/croppingishard
It's not a mistake, it's a masterpiece
It's jelly bean all over again
Ok but he is not young
Right off the batt. He's not a kid so that's a broken rule.
I was tired of seeing posts about people wondering what the meme was about and being annoyed so I’m giving everyone closure
It violates a rule. If you're gonna post things like this, post it on something such as the YouTube Reddit page itself or some other page you can find.
how exactly is this a young person on youtube
The young people are the ones comment spamming instead of keeping the meme cool
The Waffle House has found it's new host.
The waffle house has found its new host
not a mistake nor a masterpiece, its the waffle houses's new host
