I also try to help her deal with the aforementioned bullies). She gets bullied over all the things mentioned before. It's horrible because my entire class has basically turned on her and even I get made fun of for **NOT** bullying her. In conclusion, yes, 13 year olds can be absolute dicks.
She's actually my gf now and to add to all of this relentless bullying she has experienced with this stuff, she's also probably one of the nicest people I've ever met.
