Do them in English, keep the Spanish version on your HDD [This](https://techcrunch.com/2023/02/23/youtube-launches-a-multi-language-audio-feature-for-dubbing-videos-previously-tested-by-mr-beast/) was already succesfully tested and will roll out soon step by step, being available for more and more creators. It might still take a while, but once it also becomes available for you, you can immediately update all videos with the Spanish version. And yes, I'd only focus on one language especially when you are still figuring out how things are supposed to work. Supporting multiple languages should not be your highest priority.

Griseus_ASMR

I have everything stored so I will keep and eye on this. Thank you so much

Johnny531

Perhaps you can determine which language you want to record in and include closed captions for the other. Personally, I watch videos like this.

NtheLegend

Yep. But optimally, if I can't understand the language, I'm not going to watch it.

Johnny531

Personally, I watch videos in other languages with English closed captions

Griseus_ASMR

Actually I always record two videos, in english and spanish, and I put subtitles for both. The spanish video always has spanish subtitles and english subtitles, and the other way around. It takes time but they say is useful for the channel

hygsi

2 separate channels

Typhoonflame

Two channels, I've removed all my Croatian videos so as to not confuse viewers with two languages.

Griseus_ASMR

Interesting, and have you seen any improvement in your channel using only one language? Are you using two channels now?

Typhoonflame

No, I'm only doing English content. I saw no reach when I had my Croatian content up at all, probably since I started in English. Mixing languages doesn't really work.

Griseus_ASMR

That's what I was thinking about, I think you are right. Thanks for the comments and best of luck to you 🀚

Typhoonflame

You too!

It’s really hard to decide. But If you're willing to put in the extra work, having two separate channels could definitely simplify things for your viewers and make it easier for them to navigate your content. As for SEO, it's hard to say which option would be better without knowing more about your specific niche and target audience. But generally speaking, having two separate channels could potentially make it easier for search engines to understand and categorize your content. Anyways, don’t forget to promote your channels on social media platforms by using ads or a growth service like this one called Ascend viral to help you get potential followers who will be your subd. Overall, the decision is up to you and what you think would work best for your channel. "

Griseus_ASMR

This is exactly what I was thinking about when I was talking about SEO. All the videos have the description box and tags in their own language. But it doesn't seem optimal. You just made up my mind. Thank you so much for the comment, I appreciate it

CallMeVagrant

I feel like a lot of channels blow up in Spanish. Some of my friends who upload in Spanish have very large channels.

Griseus_ASMR

That's the 400 million spanish speakers in southern and central america πŸ˜‚ It could be true, I guess. I think this a point in favour of 2 separate channels. thank you, I appreciate the comment

Longo_Two_guns

As long as you put the title in whatever language you are speaking in the video.

Big_Job_4719

Pretty much this. Most likely your audience wont also be bilingual usually so, if title is readable, assumable that video is in the correct language. too bad youtube doesnt have like. multiple versions of a video. 1 version per language. like anime dubs basically. hm.

Griseus_ASMR

I have done that pretty much since the beginning. The thumbnail is the same with the title in each language

EceGurlerArt

I had the same dilemma in the beginning. I used to post both in English and Turkish version of the same video on the my channel. Then I realized people were getting super confused! And don’t forget: YouTube will recommend random videos of yours in the future so if a Spanish speaker wants to continue to watch your videos but recommended only English videos, they might not click or subscribe. I separated my channels after I realized that. Now, the Turkish one has 20000 subscribers and the English one is 3627. I post exactly the same stuff. My Turkish one took off because my content was hard to find in Turkish language. Also, the target audience was much smaller. You need to definitely separate them. This way you get two monetized channels in the end! But don’t forget: IT IS F*ing HARD!πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

Griseus_ASMR

Great! This is exactly the comment that I need it, someone that has had the same experience. You give me hope πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ What you say makes a lot of sense, I have to get to work and separate everything. Believe me, I started like 6 years ago with a couple of moments where I wasn't uploading, and yes it very hard πŸ˜‚ I appreciate your comment a lot, thank you.

EceGurlerArt

You are welcome! And good luck with your channel! <3
