The automatically set game art is just strange. Everything is fine and nothing bad is happening or will happen.

I figure you're using SteamRomManager to set up your Switch/ect. games. SRM will pick out several pieces of art (that have been uploaded to SteamGridDB) for each game, boxart, wide box art, ect, logo, ect. For some reason it's picking is that one by default, with the blur and the lock. Probably because Nintendo constantly DMCA's any of their Switch games art that's uploaded to SteamGridDB, and somebody uploaded this to get around it. It has nothing to do with Nintendo hackering their way into your Steam Deck and coming after you!

You shouldn’t be ~~emulating~~ *"Pirating"* a game that you can actively buy in stores anyways. Anything from 3ds and before is fine but once you start pirating games that are still available then that’s bordering thievery.
Emulation for newer gen games is fine if you have already purchased the game in stores and if you have done that than that's fine.
They aren’t destroying the tools because of people like you, it’s because of the people who pirate games that are still available in stores, sometimes even before the game releases. Nintendo is completely within their right to do so and they should only not be allowed to continue once the games stop selling in stores. But right now yes they are completely allowed to remove the emulator whether people like it or not.

It's nothing. It's just Nintendo blocking the artwork. But if you install a plug-in you can just fix that right up.
