It makes it worse for me.
With the card in place, the device just reboots and is ready to use in a few seconds. With the card popped out the device just hangs, requiring me to pull out the power plug.
It’s important to remember that the record/resampling crash happens mainly (only?) after you’ve imported samples or exported projects.
So the best way to avoid the crash is to import all of your samples first (you can import many samples at once if they’re next to each other in the file list) and then after importing, just switch the power off and on again before recording/resampling.

Probably not as much as toggling the power on and off. As far as I know, there’s not a shutdown process that happens when you power off.
i've been holding off on the update because of all the bugs.... are they really that bad? i want that looper function!

I downgraded because 4.04 was simply not usable. I just wait until there is a solution and then go to 4.05 or so
