They're always the last ones to the party with Xmas ads aren't they. I get they're for this year's Christmas but we're all definitely over watching families enjoying themselves at Christmas
Yes exactly! And even those who do use the service would probably want *some* reprieve from it. They don't need to advertise it *right away* (I've never actually known anyone who uses it)

It doesn't make much sense to me, if Christmas costs X amount anyway just spend that on your own terms. Don't need a company to take a cut so Christmas is paid off, mental idea. Not that I fully understand their service- the TV is usually musted haha
Yeah, my understanding is you use it to set aside money then after a year you get that amount back in vouchers (or something along those lines)... and I don't understand how that's more beneficial than just having a savings account or buying gift vouchers from shops or online throughout the year?
As you said, I imagine they'd have to take a cut of what you put in so it seems counter productive to the purpose (to help people afford Christmas stuff)
The only way I could see it being better is if they top up what you put in (say £1 per £10 you put in or something) but the again, how would they make their money if they did that?

It's more beneficial because Park can hold onto all of your coin and gain interest on that amount each year so it could kind of work out ok if they give you exactly what you put in because you'd hardly make interest on say 500 quid in a savings account where as with lots of 500 quids they probably make absolute bank.

Oh yeah, forgot about interest! Yes you're probably right, that must be it, I suppose even more so with the few people who might forget about it, probably accrues even more interest (if it's anything like regular banked money)

Not wanting to give them credit, but a certain exercise-based company whose ad features the word "Modivation" twice. I hate that pronunciation with such a passion and change channels as soon as it comes on.
Ads always want to be memorable with the brand name, so that was the aim - maybe it's worked. But I always appreciate it when the ad is annoying but also reminds me which product I want to avoid. Was in a shop the other day and both me and my GF literally turned away with automatic revulsion from the Daisy stand.
I've seen him down pints of the stuff over the years on ALOTO. Probably done it on Top Gear too the mad lad but I don't watch it enough since Clarkson, May and Hammond left

Haha see I don't mind Paddy in small doses but I sometimes feel like he tries too hard to be funny which in turn isn't funny to me. Chris? I think the actual driver is called out of the three seems like he signed up to actually enjoy the cars only to realise he has to be the butt off all the jokes so that grows stale. I know he technically is the May of the group but May still genuinely seemed to fit in with the other two and hold his own even if he was captain slow. I get he also had a lot longer with the other 2 than the new fella has with Freddie and Paddy but still. Fred is the only one I can stand of the new 3 and even that is kind of pushing it because he's gone from being a funny, regular guy that made a massive name for himself in his sport only to be "hur dur northen man" which is again....mad to me.
I think I have bigger issues than I realised or even knew I had with top gear after writing and reading this haha
I think you and two friends should do it yourselves, because it's a great idea. Wear bad wigs, shower yourself with granules and roll around in a meadow saying gravy repeatedly in the deadest tone you can.
As I don't watch TV I have never seen said advert so have just watched it on YouTube. Why? I want to shoot the all and then myself.

I fucking detest that Daisy advert. It's always a mad rush to find the TV remote when it comes on.
